David E. Harrison Biography
David E. Harrison (June 19, 1933 - December 1, 2019) was an American politician, lobbyist, and judge. He served as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1963 to 1971, representing the 16th Essex District and later the 1st Essex District. In 1968, Harrison was elected Chairman of the Massachusetts Democratic Party and served until 1971. Following his time in politics, he worked as a lobbyist on Beacon Hill and was the highest paid lobbyist at the Massachusetts State House in 1972. During the 1972 United States Presidential Election, Harrison served as George McGovern's New England Campaign Coordinator. In 1988, he became a district court judge in Lowell.
