Damien Leake Biography
Damien Leake is an American actor and record-holding masters track and field athlete. Born on August 12, 1952, in The Bronx, New York City, Leake has had a prolific career in the entertainment industry. He made his debut in the 1973 film, Serpico, and since then has appeared in around 70 motion pictures, as well as numerous television and stage acting roles. In the 1980s, Leake became known for his portrayal of tender, sensitive, and half-crazed killer characters in films like Death Wish and Apocalypse Now. Apart from acting, Leake has pursued various other roles within the entertainment industry, including singing, dancing, directing, composing, and even ventriloquism. With a strong commitment to activism, Leake participated in the historic March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom in 1963. He continues to engage in silent protests as a form of activism.
