When I install a desktop firefox update, the extension parameter in LastPass, that will let me close LastPass if not used for 30 minutes, is changed. The option is unclicked and the time removed. So every update, I have to check the LastPass extension parameters - a total pain.

If I don't notice, this means lastpass and all my passwords are left open and available to a hacker all the time. I chose a close time because I want to. Probably others do, too.

Please try to identify and find what in your updates is changing this option and STOP doing that. Or provide a warning of what parameters need to be checked/will be changed. Thanks

I am getting a very annoying screen that asks if I want to autofill an address. Since I am part of a registration team that has sometimes several hundred applications to process, it is VERY VERY ANNOYING to be asked if I want to save an address of a person on the application (most of whom I don't even know). I have "unchecked" the "autofill address" under Privacy & Security, but I'm still getting the screen. Any help that can provide would be greatly appreciates.

How I can remove the Mozilla subnet mask so I can read the content of my email?

macOS will randomly indicate that Firefox has activated the microphone even when there are no websites open which should require this access. (Screenshot attached.)

I do use Google Meet frequently, which is allowed to access my webcam and mic. When this issue occurs, my workaround has been to start and end a meeting to shut off the mic access. But this issue does not only occur after a Google Meet session.

I have not been able to find any other users experiencing this issue in forums.

When will Gecko-based Firefox Android increase the number of default search engines in 2025?

Currently it hosts only Big Tech namely Google and Microsoft Bing and DuckDuckGo, which is Bing and MSN results in DuckDuckGo and Qwant (same Bing results) latter which works only in the UK.

I'm using Gecko-based browsers like Fenix and Mull and Iceraven, and they all come with like 5 to 10 search engine options.

Adding new search engines is a mess and doesn't sync with Firefox account settings, so futile efforts.

Even Chrome allows us to select our search engine, if we are visiting it too much.

Is Firefox really privacy based browser or just Big Tech in Firefox like Google as default search engine out of the box, no asking which the XYZ user wants?

On Windows, Get Messages on a Gmail mailbox requests my Google Account password be entered in to a Thunderbird window: https://i.imgur.com/Q4Eivhk.png

That window obfuscates that is it from Thunderbird not my trusteed web browser by omitting the title bar icon.

Worse, Google actually accepts and acts upon this password.

No user in their right mind should be giving their Google password to Thunderbird. No non-Google app in its right mind should be taking Google passwords.
