- Rotation locking. When you rotate an object slightly, you can set it back to zero degrees (so that it does not appear rotated). You can also rotate objects to fixed intervals. Objects will "lock" at 0, 90, 180, and 270 degrees when rotated less than 3 degrees from those angles.

- To clear a frame, tap the Erase tool, then tap Clear frame at the bottom of the jam.
- The Select tool has changed to an arrow shape. To select an object, tap it with two fingers. This replaces the long press feature for selecting objects.
- Image search, web search, stickers, and camera tools are nested together.
- The laser pointer tool is now separate from the other tools.
- The undo and redo buttons have moved to the bottom of the toolbar.
- The framebar overflow menu contains duplicate and background color options.

- Autodraw - A new tool integrated with the Autodraw application to produce drawing recognition on the Jamboard.
- Strict sharing configuration - If strict sharing is turned on in the Admin console, when working with an unclaimed jam on a kiosk, users will need to confirm ownership by email before they are added as an owner. This prevents sharing of content before an owner is assigned. The default is off.
- USB camera support - Users can connect a USB camera and select which camera feed they want to use (USB camera or internal camera) in the settings panel of the kiosk.
- S/PDIF audio support - Users can attach external speakers to the board using S/PDIF, which is a rear port on the back of the device for optical audio.

- Admins can now also see the last time certain health fields were "green" (i.e., if Bluetooth is disabled, shows the last time it was seen enabled).
