    Bears injury updates: WR Keenan Allen remains out, S Kevin Byard returns

    Bears wide receiver Keenan Allen didn't practice Wednesday because of what general manager Ryan Poles called “some discomfort in his foot” related to the issue with his cleats that prompted him to exit practice Saturday. The team downplayed any concern Wednesday as Poles said, “He should be fine,” and coach Matt Eberflus said it “doesn't look like” anyone on the roster is at risk of missing the season opener Sept. 8 against the Titans. There's no need for the Bears to rush Allen, a six-time Pro Bowl selection entering his 12th season.
