I was at the store in Maspeth NYC NY today and saw this combo was on sale in store for $398.
I snagged one in the NYC area in red for $398 a while ago. That time it was showing up as $398 online, but it seemed to be a price bug as my order got cancelled a few times before I was successful.

I can speak personally to the Lakewood HD. Were two blue ones at this price when I was there two weeks ago. I got one and returned—it was great but realized I needed more deep drawers than this, given my existing tool storage.
But I'm just a typical person using this to store tools at home, not rolling it around all day fully loaded down or whatever.
I've owned US General and it definitely is higher quality (thicker gauge) and higher priced, but I'm not unhappy about Husky toolboxes at all. I wouldn't be unhappy even at the normal price point.
