Wooo! Transport WikiProject! I'll help out shortly :). We currently have 1 VGA and no GAs, but lots and lots of stubs! {{transport-stub}} is our template. I gave you a brief run-down on what I was working on I think, but I think we should focus on the same things initially - perhaps top level articles such as Train, Plane, Car etc to VGA, or just GA? Thoughts? Regards, Goblin 16:39, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well done on the VGA. I was thinking the same thing. That we should get all the main transport articles to at least GA status and then organise the articles so that they are easy to follow. Tbo 157 (talk) 16:42, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks :). Yeh, i'll write up a plan so to speak that we can then work on. Any preference for what to do first? As for the organising part, you mean have a clear category structure etc? I agree :). There's probably scope to subcategorise some of the stubs too, i'm thinking mainly rail related stuff. Thoughts? (Again ;)) Goblin 16:46, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think once we consolidate the main global transport articles, we can then subcategorise into rail, air etc and start working on local transport articles. Tbo 157 (talk) 16:50, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds good :). Now we just need more editors ;). Goblin 16:53, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
yep, that might be the hard part. Even on en, transport articles are maintained by a small number of users. Tbo 157 (talk) 17:30, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
