Senegal at the Olympics is a history which began in 1954.
The International Olympic Committee's official abbreviation for Senegal was SGL. It is now SEN.[1]
History
[change | change source]Senegal has been to all Summer Olympic Games held since 1964. Unlike most surrounding nations, Senegal has never missed any Summer Olympics since its independence.
Senegal is among the small group of tropical countries that have been in the Winter Olympic Games. Its winter athletes have been in four Winter Olympics since 1984
