Steven Arthur Pinker (born September 18, 1954) is a Canadian-American experimental psychologist. He has written six popular psychology books. He is a Harvard College professor.
Early life and career
[change | change source]Pinker was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1954, to a middle-class English-speaking Jewish family.
Personal life
[change | change source]When he was 13 he became an atheist.[1] Pinker was given the American Humanist Association's Humanist of the Year award on May 13, 2006.
