Carl Trumbull Hayden (October 2, 1877 – January 25, 1972) was an American politician. He the first United States Senator to serve seven terms. Hayden was also the President pro tempore of the United States Senate, serving from 1957 to 1969.

He represented Arizona. Hayden is a member of the Democratic Party. Hayden was born in Hayden's Ferry, Arizona.

Hayden died in Mesa, Arizona from an illness, aged 94.[1]
