Western civilization or Western culture is made up of North America, Central America, South America, and Europe from Iceland to Moscow, Russia. People in the Western civilization know English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and/or Dutch. World beat music is enjoyed by immigrants to Western civilization because it reminds of them of their homeland that they were forced to leave because of politicial strife, economic hardship, or because they wanted to have a new life.
