Tanoli or Tanawali are a Hindko-speaking ethnic group living in the Hazara area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.[1] The Tanolis claim descent from Barlas Turks, who were settled in this region by Timur after he conquered Hazara.[2]
