Your vital contribution will help shape the future of local and regional cinema.

As a pillar of the local and regional film scene for more than 30 years, SGIFF is committed to nurturing and championing local and Southeast Asian talent. To do this, our initiatives extend beyond the festival into year-round school and funding programmes for arts and culture enrichment as well as support for filmmakers.

As a registered charity and an Institution of a Public Character (IPC), we rely upon the generous support of our community. Please consider making a contribution to SGIFF. The link below will take you to an external microsite where you can enjoy 250% tax deduction on eligible donations.

Thank you for your contribution!

Adopt a Cause from SGIFF

By choosing to donate to one of our causes, your kind contribution will help to shape the filmmakers, artists and audiences of tomorrow and build a long-term future for cinema in the region.

Film Immersion Programme for Schools

In today’s complex media landscape, our Film Immersion Programme (FIP) is designed to equip students with the critical thinking skills needed to navigate and understand the images they encounter both online and offline.

Through FIP, we aim to boost media literacy and film education in schools so that students can learn to engage with content in a more thoughtful and discerning way, be empowered to express themselves through images and, possibly, to create new stories.

Accessibility Programmes for PWD

Cinema is for everyone. With the launch of our new Accessibility Programme, we aim to create a more accessible cinema-going experience for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).

Your donation can help us open doors by allowing us to invest in research, development and specialised infrastructure that caters to the needs of PWDs. With your support, we can make cinema an inclusive space for all.

Kids’ Weekend Programme

Through the Kids’ Weekend Programme, we aim to bring the magic of film to children through an unforgettable weekend of joy and discovery. With screenings of animated shorts, hands-on coloring activities and interactive games, children will be immersed in creativity and imagination.

Your kind support can help us reach more children, giving them the chance to experience the wonder of cinema and inspiring the next generation of dreamers and creators.

Film Fund grants for filmmakers

At SGIFF, we’re committed to nurturing Southeast Asian filmmakers through two essential film grants, each designed to empower those with powerful, untold stories.

The Tan Ean Kiam Foundation-SGIFF Southeast Asian Documentary (SEA-DOC) Grant supports the production and post-production of documentaries that bring urgent, impactful stories from the region to life. Meanwhile, the Southeast Asian-Short Film (SEA-SHORTS) Grant champions emerging narrative filmmakers, providing them with the resources to turn their visions into reality.
