Asian Producers Network

The Asian Producers Network (APN) is a platform for film producers from the region to deepen dialogue and discover opportunities for collaboration.

Since 2017, APN has provided participants with an environment for mutual learning and resource sharing. While this remains unchanged, the 2024 programme aims to significantly enhance the participants’ market exposure and engagement with the region’s film industry.

Led by programme specialist Fran Borgia, participants will meet with leading industry professionals through a series of closed-door guest lectures, individual consultation sessions and roundtable discussions. Topics to be addressed include project development, content production in Asia, and support from the international film festival circuit and granting bodies.

Over the course of the five-day programme and wider festival, participants will explore pathways and strategies to develop a feature film project with the intention and potential for international co-production.
