Prof. Chen received his Ph.D. degree in computing science from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2007. In the same year, he joined the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, where he is currently a Professor of data mining with the Big Data Research Center. His main research interests include graph mining, NLP, information spreading, and artificial intelligence. In recent years, he has published more than 120 papers in academic journals or international conferences such as Physics Report, Knowledge Based Systems, Information Sciences, Physical Review E, and New Journal of Physics, with 5790 total citations on Google and an SCI H-index of 24.
