Prof. Dr. Anum Shafiq

She is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Mathematics and Statistics, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, China. She received her Ph.D. in 2016 from Quaid -i-Azam University Islamabad, Pakistan. She worked as an Assistant Professor in the department of mathematics, at the prestigious universities of Pakistan for two years. After that, she performed postdoctoral research from 2019 to Jan 2020 at North-West University, South Africa. Her research is mostly focused on numerical methods for boundary value problems, implementation of computational techniques based on traditional as well as heuristic paradigms, Newtonian and non-Newtonian nanofluids flow and microorganisms, multidisciplinary applications of mathematics, etc. She is the winner of a number of awards and scholarships. She is an editorial board member of many reputed journals and has published more than 100 research papers in SCI-indexed journals with a research h-index over 35 and over 3100 citations as per Web of Sciences. She is a potential reviewer of top-ranking research journals. Dr. Shafiq acts as a resource person and gives invited talks at many workshops and conferences held at the national and international levels.
