This Award is given to experts in the area of agricultural and forestry biotechnology who have made meritorious contributions in the areas of research, development, technology transfer, training of human resources, training, cooperation in one or more of the biotechnologies and/or or of the sciences that support it, and/or with applications to genetic resources and the genetic improvement of plants and animals.
