PROS: I like that WooCommerce is highly customizable solution. It allows you to change, add codes and customize the pages the way you want. With WooCommerce you have everything in one place. Also, if you need additional add-ons like additional fileds, payment portals or specific data field management you can always find plugin.

CONS: What I don’t like is that every plugin is additional cost, the set up of WooCommerce is free but you’ll need some additional plugins which cost. Also, there is step learning curve when it comes to setting up.

PROS: One of the best e-commerce tool I’ve ever used for selling various types of products. I constantly use and work over WordPress and Woo Commerce is great fit for my tasks. I have tried other solutions but WooCommerce provides complete control of my store and ability to extend it with lot of plugins.

CONS: Some of the official and premium plug-ons of WooCommerce are expensive, but you have lot of lite versions of multiple plugins available.

PROS: I transferred my business online 2 years ago, and I used WooCommerce to do it. Thanks to this top class solution, I built an amazing e-store and I am managing the complete sales funnel. My favorite aspect of WooCommerce is its flexibility, I like how it can be enriched with plugins to respond to every specific need, from SEO enhancement to checkout and payment difficulties. If you need to improve your online business presence and to make the most of it, WooCommerce is an option you should consider seriously.

CONS: As a beginner, you might find yourself in a situation to pay top dollars for plugins and extensions just because you need the website to respond to an unexpected requirement. The best way to go is obviously to purchase WooCommerce solutions, but they can cost a fortune (the 2checkout extension, for instance, is really expensive!). Another potential problem is the lack of Amazon payment integration, I think that could improve performance significantly.

PROS: The thing that makes WooCommerce so special for us it that it is easy to install, and becomes usable to close amazing deals right after you've set it up. Loaded with functions and hooks, the tool allows you to do literally any type of custom development, which should be easy even for unexperienced users who'd recognize their intuitive template hierarchy. The standard plugin is free, but robust enough to create and sell all sorts of products, from the simplest to the most complex purchases. It supports digital content too, and I think that's awesome.

CONS: It was quite disappointing to find out that such an amazing company doesn’t provide support for free. As if things were not bad enough, I don't consider their premium extensions to be worth the price I'm paying for them, so it means I'm literally spending my money on support I don't even use. I believe some of you could benefit from the premium package, but only assuming that you're ready to spend $1000 per year to have the booking system completely covered.

PROS: If I had to choose a single favorite feature, that would be affordability. Woocommerce is for free, which makes it accessible to small and developing businesses that cannot make mindblowing investments in ecommerce. Set up was easier than I expected, and I purchased few plugins to improve my website. Some of the plugins were free too. Overall, there are many features that make WooCommerce special-in certain cases, it is even better than Shopify.

CONS: The best plugins are obviously paid, I guess that's the reasoning behind the creation of a functional and free app. It wasn't such a problem for me because I was most often able to find free alternatives, but that's not always the case, unfortunately. You may find yourself investing $60 for addons you know nothing about, and I'm not sure how many small businesses can handle that. Do some serious research before buying whatever!

CONS: It has steep learning curve especially if you use drag-and-drop. Also, the shipping host options are complicated, they could make them intuitive.

It’s customizable, and report sections is great, it offers shipping options and great cart system. Each page is well designed whether it is category page, product detail page, shopping cart. Also, you can choose free or paid themes.

CONS: They could improve the page design even better, and improve the custom reporting. But overall, the product works perfectly.

PROS: WooCommerce is outstanding solution which is easy to setup and it is extensible so you can make as much customization as you need. There are lot of ways of how to use it, starting from non developers to full engineering departments. For beginners this is perfect solution to start their business with highest speed.

CONS: WooCommerce is perfect solution, but what I don’t like is the fact that is build on WordPress and here comes some issues with security and performance. On the other side, I do believe that WP will make major improvements when it comes to their eco-system.

PROS: The biggest benefit of using WooCommerce is saving time, you'll see that straight from the beginning. Takes minutes to install, and starts running immediately, even when used on a WordPress website. A great discovery for designers willing to invest more efforts into customizing unique themes, mostly because of its intuitiveness which reminds of WordPress. There is a considerably good free package, so I think everyone can try it.

CONS: Customizing themes scared me at the beginning, I couldn't find any online tutorial or manuals on how to do it. I had to turn to Lynda videos, which aren't that related, to say at least.

PROS: I’m using WooCommerce for 4 years and I like that I’m allowed to build multisite business on WordPress and this tool allows me to customize my work according to my needs. It fits perfectly and I’m using it on other websites as well. It is well designed and well thought out.

CONS: If yout server is powerful enough then you can build large stores but if you have lot of SKUs then you could try other platform or custom solution. Also, I don’t like that each extension costs a lot.

PROS: My web developer told me about WooCommerce a long time ago, but I had no idea something could be that simple and straightforward. One never knows how something works before he tries it, and I think trying WooCommerce was a good decision. It didn't exactly blow my mind with elegancy and functionalism (some parts are completely disfunctional), but it did what it was supposed to do. The needs of my business are all met, and there is no need to use third party software.

CONS: Sharing the experience of back end users, I could say this is by far a complicated and messy tool to use. Don't get involved if you're not technically ready, I really mean that.

The product delivers amazing functionality, and has a robust set of features and extensions. I am pleased to let go of traditional commerce rules-this product allows me to unleash my creativity, and to customize things the way I want them to be! Another good thing is that they have a free package with premium quality.

CONS: I'm missing documentation and coding transparency, I'd change that if I could. I understand that the package is free and they don't feel obliged to document and save data, but I suspect it is a startegy to push users towards their paid, premade extension packages.

It doesn’t require installation, all you have to do is to search for WooCommerce under WP and the installation begins automatically. You are able to run it on shared server and there is no need of high configuration server in order to run it. It is customizable and you can customize it according to your needs. Report section is great, it has shipping options, checkout system, filter section, and pre-installed payment.

CONS: Everything works great with WooCommerce.

PROS: WooCommerce offers great integration with Wordpress and it provides you with flexibility on CMS. Also, it is easy to set up and it has simple and clean interface. It offers lot of premium third party plugins so you can implement features and functionalities.

CONS: It takes some efforts if you want to integrate it into themes and templates. Also, the team behind WooCommerce could improve its filtering functions.

PROS: It comes for free! You can create your products and put them on the market without spending a single dollar to do it! One'd guess the platform is simple, and that's generally true, but the option to pay for additional plugins is always at stake. I like their support service, which is in fact an online user community, but a knowledgeable one. In fact, we had a case with a client wishing to offer online membership for his community, but who had the budget too tight for the purpose. We immediatelly thought of WooCommerce, and designed him a solution to integrate with payment systems using Webhooks. The final product was both fabulous and functional, and we repeated the procedure multiple times. What we are doing now is integrating it with Printful, so that purchase information will be sent directly there, printed, and shipped to the users without additional efforts.

CONS: I spent more time setting it up than I did with Shopify. Then, it doesn't accept credit cards unless you purchase addons to enable it. To be completely frank, themes are not that ideal, and it may happen that you need to do extra customization in Wordpress to obtain the desired looks. The process takes time since plugins are not always compatible, and you have to disable some of them to make the theme work.

PROS: Woocommerce is robust in terms of features and options, and things are done in a straightforward, painless way. Selling products is, to say at least, entertaining, as you can set and run your personal store, and present products in a variety of catchy ways. Woocommerce helped us attract attention and sell more, and that meant the world to our growing business.

CONS: We were told that premium plugins come with amazing support, unlike users community you have to rely on when using their free package. Well, this was not true at all, since it took me one thousand calls to reach them, and an enitre week to have my problem solved. If support was for free I'd understand it, but when you pay top dollars to get it, it's just frustrating! The second thing I dislike is Product page customization, it's not as good as I thought. I didn't worry with all the plugins out there, but I faced a classic situation of not being able to find the one that matches my theme. Plenty of work still needs to be done in Wordpress, which makes me wonder why I'm even paying for it at times.

PROS: I have two years of day-to-day usage experience, from which I can point out few advantages: Woo Commerce is set up with minimal efforts, and doesn't have such a bumpy learning curve. The second thing is that there is a free and a premium package to choose from, and both are packed with functional features and customization options. The template engine seems a bit challenging at the beginning, but becomes a routine when you get used to it. The third thing is obviously the support community, where you can have all your questions answered. I came across users who were outstanding experts in Wordpress, and they can lend a hand with premium plugins.

CONS: Documentation leaves a lot to wish for, the same as stylesheets which will really benefit from some extra BEM. That's my opinion, at least.

PROS: My favorite part is the robust dashboard, together with strong and reliable integration with similar platforms. WooCommerce was a great on-budget discovery, and we are using it to run our WordPress LifterLMS plugin. More precisely, we integrated it with our complex licensing system, meaning that we can create and email licenses automatically. Besides, it is easy, and doesn't cost a dime! Does it sound like something you could use? I bet it does!

CONS: I think they should introduce something like a learners' codebase, or provide some basic tutorials for beginners. Disabling useless features is a serious workload too, but besides, I have nothjing to complain about.

PROS: WooCommerce is such a delight for developers, we enjoy being able to sneak-peak into every stage of our company's workflow. All parts all professionally executed and integrated into a beautiful unit that does magic for one's business. Even if you're not a web developer, the tool provides inbuilt WebHooks whose purpose is exactly to trigger powerful ecommerce solutions via simple dashboard actions. The software is open and free, meaning that there is a huge, ever expanding community of users knowledgeable to assist in all cases. What I like the most about the community is that they create addons I'm missing, and they do it for free.

CONS: I didn't dive that deep to discover technical issues, as I'm only working on what the platform provides. I'd just advise you to stay focused on the tasks you're performing, otherwise you'll get lost in the rising tide of popular plugin solutions which you don't need, and which create collateral clutter.
