ClearBooks Accounting Review

PROS: ClearBook's toolbox is loaded with useful services. It empowers me to solve financial problems without having to shift from one program to another. Plus, it gives me pretty clear-cut and accurate insight into my business too.

CONS: It still does require a level of vigilance from the user. It is not completely error-free, but I still love using this because it makes my job a lot easier.

PROS: ClearBooks gives us a pretty clear picture of where our business stands in terms of financial status. It gives us accurate information regarding our income and expenses. Through it, we've been able to make better business decisions and reconcile our spendings with our income--all in record time. I couldn't understand what the buzz about ClearBooks was before, but I guess now I'm one of those online sellers who can vouch for the accuracy and efficiency of this program.

CONS: I think the only downside to ClearBooks is that it can only be used for small to medium-sized companies. It doesn't have the capacity to process larger transactions because it only offers limited data storage space.

PROS: This is probably the best accounting tool that I've worked with. It's intuitive and user-friendly--starting from the initial setup down to its use. It also has the capabilities of scheduling and automating payments, freeing up some of our time. Lastly, I love how it allows us to keep track of our assets too.

CONS: The weekly updates can be quite time-consuming and annoying.

PROS: ClearBooks simplifies the way we conduct our business. We can easily see how much we owe to our contractors, as well as how much is owed to us by our customers. It manages to break down all the important details in running a business and helps us save more time and effort. Not to mention, our data can be easily sent to our accountants too so we don't have to worry about that.

CONS: It is a program designed for smaller-sized companies. We've grown over the years, and we've noticed how the program now has a hard time catching up with the bulk of data that comes with the growth in our business.

PROS: I love how user-friendly this program is. We use this to send and create invoices, keep track of our current billings, and so much more. It's a sophisticated solution that is set in the backdrop of a simple interface. Through it, we've been able to personalize our invoices and apply our own branding to them. Not to mention, they also offer free training to help us make the most out of their product. They also appointed a dedicated account manager to address all of the issues that may come up as we're using it. We've been able to teach this to all of our employees, while still safeguarding important details by imposing access levels.

CONS: I'd have to say that ClearBooks has been an absolute pleasure to work with. So far, it hasn't given us any major problems. Even then, I'm pretty sure that our account manager can help us solve whatever issue may come up.

PROS: I think it's great that this is cloud-based and can allow me to control and access my accounting information from one central control panel. It's well-integrated and accessible. It also even lets me pre-schedule my pending payments so that I won't miss any of them. There's a templated billing system, but I like how it makes room for customization as well. And lastly, it keeps a safe record of all my assets, customer information, and sales.

CONS: In terms of features, I don't think I have any complaints. Perhaps my only beef with ClearBooks is that it doesn't give much room for customizations.

PROS: ClearBooks addresses one major pain point of every business owner: security. With it, we're assured that all of the sales of our products are accounted for and that all our invoices can easily be traced. It is complete, reliable, and most importantly, secure.

CONS: The premium version's price is a bit too steep--more so than all our other options. Not to mention, the recent upgrade has significantly reduced the speed of the entire system.

PROS: I love how ClearBooks equips our team with the latest features in accounting. Through it, we've been able to learn new skills and adapt to the times. It's so easy to justify the expense for ClearBook's subscription to our board. I think that they see the value of this tool as much as we do.

CONS: We've had to cut some costs in recent years, and ClearBooks was sadly one of the tools that had to go. This is the problem with being in a non-profit organization, I guess. Sacrifices have to be made in favor of cost-efficiency. But I'm still glad that we got to use ClearBooks even for just a bit--at least now we know that there are software products like it being offered in the market.

PROS: ClearBooks drives transparency and an integrated accounting system. I love how there's a single control panel that gives us an overview of the state of our finances. Plus, this gives me pretty accurate insight into the current assets and all pending schedules too. Not to mention, it allows me to automate my payments to save time and prevent lapses. I also find its interface very easy to navigate. The billing module is particularly useful in reconciling bank accounts and gathering bank statements data. Its search function is second to none and it can help me generate reports within a matter of minutes. Lastly, I like that this is based on the cloud so I can access it anytime I need information regarding my finances.

CONS: Seeing that this is cloud-based, one has to constantly be connected online to access its data. I sometimes struggle with the creation of invoices too because the template suddenly freezes and it forces me to start at the beginning. There's no autosave feature as well.

PROS: Tracking down invoices and outstanding expenses have been a lot easier with ClearBooks spearheading this cause. Creating invoices is now faster and more accurate too. We've also been able to customize our templates. So far, this has been the most user-friendly accounting program that we have used. It allows us to customize our reports and all other documents that we need for our business.

CONS: We've had some difficulty in creating invoices using ClearBooks. Plus, we think that its price could stand to be lowered a bit--right now it's not accessible for small-time business owners. There are some facets of the program that are hard to understand as well. When we try to reach out to their customer service, they're not as helpful as we need them to be too. Lastly, the program seems to crash intermittently and is quite slow.

PROS: It works at an impressive speed and I love how accessible this is.

CONS: Nothing--this works perfectly well on my end.

PROS: I love how it doesn't bombard you with so many unnecessary features. It's straightforward and it gets the job done.

CONS: For some reason, they keep rolling out these UI changes every week. This can be frustrating for someone who's just getting comfortable with the interface.

PROS: I've recently launched my own business so, as can be expected from a new entrepreneur, I shopped around the market for the best accounting product. I'm so glad that I came across ClearBooks! It keeps an accurate record of all of my assets and it helps me manage invoices, billings, and everything else that I need to manage the financial aspect of my business.

CONS: Its design is not as intuitive as advertised, to be honest. I've been having a hard time in utilizing it for funds and credit applications. I also think that it would help a lot if the developers could add an auto-save feature. It would also be nice to be able to personalize the documents template.
