The Royal Run, a yearly event led by "Bevæg dig for Livet" together with the Royal Family, promotes a healthy lifestyle for the Danish community. Since the first edition of the Royal Run in 2018, the race has become an annual highlight for thousands of Danes. This year, the participation record is broken again, as 95,000 take part in the running party. Taking place in five cities throughout Denmark, this year's edition is set to take place in the following locations: Brønderslev, Aarhus, Fredericia, Kalundborg and Copenhagen/Frederiksberg. In each of these cities, Danes can choose to either walk or run a distance of 1 mile (1.6 km), 5 kilometers or 10 kilometers.
