Su Mei, his ex-wife, asks the Xings to bring up their two-year-old son, and then marries Lin Zuosheng, concealing the fact that she is pregnant at that time. Time flies. Xing Fei, Ge's eldest son who is sent to the Xings becomes a policeman, and Lin Yinan, their youngest son, also returns home from abroad. When Ge Dahong is released from the prison, Xing Fei accepts him. However, for the sake of Xing Fei's future, Su Mei begs Ge Dahong to leave. By accident, Ge Dahong lets Lin Yinan know that he is his biological father. In order to inherit Lin Zuosheng' property, Lin Yinan kills his biological father Ge Dahong. He hides the evidence, but it draws Lin Zuosheng's suspicion. Lin Yinan also kills his brother and foster father, and revises the will of his foster father.
