Great History Podcast

I tried several history Podcasts, but this one is the best. It is so informative. The host & guests paint a poignant picture and bring you back to the period they are discussing. I could not recommend it more.
Revisionist history, US propaganda
há 4 dias
While well produced and statistically fairly accurate, the storytelling still comes from an imperialist, nationalist perspective. The United States is a cancer on this earth - we must face the harsh reality of history, not a protected version that paints our country as if we are saviors. We destabilize the entire balance of harmony in the universe - stop with the fairy tales.
Slightly interesting, but they invoke climate change for stories 1000 years ago.

So the history is really good, but twice today on two different podcasts I’ve heard about climate change. One was from the Cahokia mounds. Sources????? It started off well, but you people are fools.
Those who don’t understand history are doomed to repeat it

Update to review: Don tells history like it is. Simple as that. He does not rewrite or provide bias - if it seems like that to some listeners then I encourage them to look into their hearts and realize it may be time to admit why that is. Keep up the great work, Don! Without outlets like yours, history will buried under today’s propaganda and our great country does not deserve that. Original review: I absolutely love this podcast and the host! I never know what the next topic is going to be and somehow it’s always just what I needed to hear. Each episode is well researched and has a good story to it. I like the guests he picks and listening to Don’s perspective on the topic. He’s just like us- a history nerd! I happily pay the annual subscription for the work that goes into creating this content. Thanks!
