It truly takes a village.

When it comes to growing the game of volleyball, First Point Volleyball Foundation is at the tip of the spear when it comes to the mens side. I had the privelage to sit with two legendary figures in the volleyball ethos, Kenny Rogers of California and Sarah Conklin of North Carolina. They are two links in the chain building and growing the high school branch of boys and mens volleyball. Pay close attention as they both share with us the journey of growing the game of boys volleyball with all the challenges and triumphs that come with it.

When culture matters and coaches make a difference.

If coaching makes a difference, then this is the coach you're looking for! When it comes to the development of a player, you cannot skip steps. One of the biggest contributing factors of development is the environment in which you participate. Coach Earl Laulusa is the greenhouse for your player. His approach to the game is solid as is his approach to managing and developing his players. The culture of his team is reflective in their character as well as their play. MB Surf 18u and Coach Parker Boehle - Commitment and Excellence

A brief conversation with the MB Surf 18u coach, Parker Boehle. Having gone undefeated through last seasons SoCal Cup league and tournament play, the MB Surf 17u team took second place at JO's. In this episode, Coach Boehle talks about the experience and how resilient his team is as they prepare for the opening qualifiers for SoCal Cup for the 2024 - 2025 season. With a new roster for this year Coach Boehle and his team embarks on their final journey to Orlando with this group.
