Description

NOTE: This extension is under code stewardship review and not actively maintained (T256505). No new feature requests will be considered during this period. For security-related fixes please tag tasks with Web-Team-Backlog

Provides API with plain-text or limited HTML extracts of page content (Homepage). The Hovercards (Popups) extension and mobile Link preview features use this.

The extension is in maintenance mode and we are not planning to implement any new features. See also T258964: HtmlFormatter library: Code stewardship review.
