Photo: Stephane Cardinale/Corbis via Getty Lena Dunham says she’s “boring” in this era of her life — and that’s a good thing. “I am so lucky in that the last years have been, I would argue, the most peaceful of my life,” she tells PEOPLE exclusively when discussing her new movie Treasure (in theaters Friday, June 14) from home. “Sometimes I feel like I am boring on the phone with my friends, because I have a lovely husband who I adore collaborating with,” says Dunham, 38, of Luis Felber, who she met and married in 2021. Karwai Tang/WireImage “I just finished a TV show, writing and directing 10 episodes,” continues Dunham, the creator-producer of the upcoming comedy Too Much starring Megan Stalter and Will Sharpe and co-created with Felber, 38. On the Netflix series, she adds, “I was lucky enough to have Mr. Stephen Fry in it, which was a life-changing joy.” And as far as her physical health, which has included issues with endometriosis, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and addiction to benzodiazepines (she’s been sober since 2018), Dunham tells PEOPLE, “My body will always have its ups and downs.” 18 Celebrities Who Are Spreading the Word About the Pain of Endometriosis But, she says, “I still get to be a person doing the job that I love.
