Woman Assaults Dunkin' Employee + Shell, Smoke Zone Burglarized + Vehicles Stolen: HCPD
A woman assaulted a Dunkin' employee before stealing the tip cup, other businesses were burglarized and several vehicles were stolen: HCPD.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Three businesses reported being robbed and burglarized over the weekend while nearly 20 vehicles were broken into and an additional four vehicles were stolen, according to police.
On Aug. 17 at 9 a.m., a woman went into the Dunkin' located in the 5800 block of Robert Oliver Place in Columbia, assaulted a store employee and stole a tip cup before running off. That same day and around that same time, two men went into the Shell located in the 7200 block of Cradlerock Way in Columbia and stole vape products before taking off, police said.
On Aug. 18 shortly after 4 a.m., unknown suspect(s) broke the front glass door of Smoke Zone, located in the 4800 block of Waterloo Road in Ellicott City, and stole cash and merchandise, according to a police report.

- 6200 block of Lilac Bush Lane, Clarksville, Aug. 15-16 overnight, three vehicles: nothing reported stolen
- 8500 block of Dorsey Spring Court, Ellicott City, Aug. 16-17 overnight, wallet
- 9100 block of Bursa Road, Laurel, Aug. 17, 12:15-2:40 p.m., various items
- 10300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia, Aug. 17, 4-9 p.m., airbag
- 5400 block of Lynx Lane, Columbia, Aug. 18-19 overnight, nothing reported stolen
- 7000 block of Ducketts Lane, Elkridge, Aug. 17-18 overnight, shoes
- 2700 block of Turf Valley Road, Ellicott City, Aug. 17-18 overnight, electronics
- 7200 block of Alden Way, Hanover, Aug. 18-19 overnight, two vehicles: various items
- 7000 block of Minstrel Way, Columbia, Aug. 18-19 overnight, tires
