Motorcyclist Killed After Crashing Into Truck In Laurel: Howard County Police

A motorcyclist was killed early Saturday morning in Laurel after police say he drove into a truck that was turning.

At approximately 4:10 a.m. on Aug. 10, a 2021 Suzuki GSX-S750 motorcycle was traveling north on Washington Boulevard just past Lynn Buff Court when it hit a truck making a left turn onto southbound Washington Boulevard.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A motorcyclist was killed Saturday in the early morning hours in Laurel after police say the driver crashed into a truck.

At approximately 4:10 a.m. on Aug. 10, a 2021 Suzuki GSX-S750 motorcycle was traveling north on Washington Boulevard just past Lynn Buff Court when it hit a truck making a left turn onto southbound Washington Boulevard. The man driving the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the truck were uninjured, according to the Howard County Police Department.

The cause of the collision is being investigated. Washington Boulevard in the area of the collision was closed for approximately 3.5 hours.
