Indonesia AirAsia X adalah usaha sama AirAsia X. Ia melayani penerbangan antarabangsa jarak jauh Indonesia AirAsia yang dijadualkan secara tetap dari Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Ngurah Rai Bali. Indonesia AirAsia X melancarkan penerbangan pertamanya ke Taipei pada 29 Januari 2015.

Syarikat penerbangan tambang rendah Indonesia AirAsia nampaknya akan berhenti beroperasi sebagai syarikat penerbangan mandiri, dan digabungkan dengan anak syarikat AirAsia, Indonesia AirAsia X.[5]

Indonesia AirAsia X adalah usaha sama AirAsia X. Ia melayani penerbangan antarabangsa jarak jauh Indonesia AirAsia yang dijadualkan secara tetap dari Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Ngurah Rai Bali. Indonesia AirAsia X dirancang untuk melancarkan destinasi pertamanya ke Melbourne pada 26 Disember 2014[6] tetapi ditangguhkan sehingga 18 Mac 2015 kerana kelewatan kelulusan laluan dari pihak berkuasa Australia.[7] Sebaliknya, Taipei menjadi destinasi pertama Indonesia AirAsia X dengan melancarkan perkhidmatan pada 30 Januari 2015.[8]

Pada bulan November 2018, syarikat penerbangan itu mengumumkan bahawa ia akan menghentikan operasi berjadual mulai Januari 2019, namun ia akan menjalankan operasi tidak berjadual sejak itu.[9][10]

Sejarah

Indonesia AirAsia X adalah operasi jarak jauh dan sederhana dari jenama Indonesia AirAsia. Francais dapat mengurangkan kos dengan menggunakan sistem tiket umum, seragam pesawat, seragam pekerja, dan gaya pengurusan. Ia melayani 2 penerbangan antarabangsa jarak jauh yang dijadualkan dari Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Ngurah Rai Bali ke Mumbai dan Tokyo sehingga kedua-duanya dihentikan, ia juga melayani penerbangan jarak pendek menggunakan Airbus A320-200 dari Jakarta, Denpasar dan Surabaya, menggantikan beberapa penerbangan Indonesia AirAsia.

Indonesia AirAsia X merancang untuk melancarkan destinasi pertamanya ke Melbourne pada 26 Disember 2014, [11] namun belum mendapat kebenaran dari pemerintah Australia atau Indonesia untuk menerbangkan laluan tersebut.[12][13] Ini menyebabkan gangguan besar kepada penumpang semasa musim cuti puncak, dengan banyak penerbangan ditunda, atau dibatalkan secara langsung. [14] Kemudian pada bulan Januari 2015, Taipei diumumkan sebagai laluan pertama IAAX dari Bali di mana penerbangan sulung dimulakan pada 19 Januari 2015, tetapi kemudiannya berakhir pada bulan September 2015.[15]

Pada akhir November 2018, syarikat penerbangan itu mengumumkan bahawa ia akan menghentikan operasi yang dijadualkan mulai Januari 2019. Syarikat penerbangan tersebut akan tetap beroperasi tetapi akan beroperasi sebagai syarikat penerbangan komersial yang tidak dijadualkan pada masa hadapan. Syarikat penerbangan itu mengendalikan penerbangan terakhirnya yang dijadualkan ke Tokyo pada 14 Januari 2019 [16]

Firma memperkenalkan watak Ace baru kepada penonton di Singapura, Malaysia, Filipina dan Indonesia.

Nickelodeon Asia telah bergabung dengan AirAsia untuk melancarkan kempen pelbagai wilayah dan pelbagai platform, yang telah dirancang untuk mendidik anak-anak mengenai destinasi dan budaya penerbangan dan Asia yang bertanggungjawab.

Maskot superhero - Ace - telah dibuat untuk SkyRider Club AirAsia. Kanak-kanak akan dapat mengikuti petualangan di seluruh Asia, mendapatkan pengetahuan mengenai adat istiadat tempatan dan belajar mengenai aktiviti mesra kanak-kanak di beberapa destinasi AirAsia.

Kepentingan keselamatan penerbangan akan ditunjukkan melalui kandungan on-air dan dalam talian yang dihasilkan oleh Nickelodeon dan acara darat di Singapura dan Filipina.

Sepanjang kempen, pertandingan akan diadakan, menawarkan perjalanan untuk empat ke destinasi teratas AirAsia. Hadiah lain akan ditawarkan kepada penonton Nickelodeon dan ahli SkyRider Club.

Tempat TV berbilang bahasa memperkenalkan Ace kepada penonton Nickelodeon, sementara firma itu juga menghasilkan sepuluh acara sekolah di Singapura yang memberi peluang kepada anak-anak untuk bertemu Ace, Spongebob Squarepants dan Patrick Starfish.

Acara di darat akan menyusul, yang menampilkan Ace sebagai sebahagian daripada acara Halloween tahunan Nickelodeon pada bulan Oktober dan acara musim panas pada bulan April 2013.
