Chasing Robert Barker
(2015)

Miserable men filming more miserable people, in the dark . . .
I agree wholeheartedly with the reviewer, "funnyfaceking" who reviewed this awful plotless film ; and, tactfully at the end of the review, stated: "Those who were raving about how wonderful the film was and complimenting various amazing yet subtle qualities about it, 'MUST HAVE WATCHED ANOTHER FILM. ´ " To me, an admirer of speaking the : TRUTH , though it may only be "MY TRUTH" and thoroughly SUBJECTIVE and RELATIVE , can frankly state that : THIS WAS A TOTALLY DARK FILM , literally , photographed in dark rooms and dark spaces, and ENTIRELY , PLOTLESS . . . The lying complimentary words of reviewers who found charm and well-thought through, originality and independence in the making and production, must have been heavily BRIBED to review like this. If drama , in 2015 is a reflection of society in our time, and in Texas, then, I pity those who live in the USA in our time ! It is the documentary unfolding of the life of a photographer, who is searching for his "subject" and THERE IS NO MORE PLOT THAN THAT! This is not a "full mystery thriller drama" by any definition!

We Have Your Husband
(2011)

"We Have Your Husband" Not an easy film to watch . . .
This film is very intelligently made and , in fact , has the journalistic flavour of a documentary . The opening scenes illustrate a very close knit and warm, affectionate family atmosphere, of people who privately and publicly, show themselves to be the same loyal, honest, open and generous individuals, no matter what happens to them, in life. They are strong characters. Suddenly, they are being tested by violent criminals who are demons of greed and brutality . . . more like vicious animals than human beings . . . We learn that even this type of criminal, though cruel, has a pattern of methods, because of the constant M O of their violence. The actors are really skillfull and convincing. The story has sharp lines and though painful and agonising to empathise with the situation, keeps one guessing to the end. It is original and has been based on the truth. True life stories, have the characteristic of genuineness, especially, when the script is good and the performance by the actors is good.

In My Sister's Shadow
(1997)

"In My Sister´s Shadow" : More true to life than you think . . . a sensitive (to human nature) film.
This film is very inciteful about the complex family "sibling relationship" and family dynamics. It is very believable to those in a (perhaps somewhat less DRAMATIC situation , that is , a similar situation minus the violence such as the horrible suicides ! These people who choose suicide are obviously sick and unbalanced, however, the situation of misunderstandings in intimate family relations, can occurr when everyday people, take each other for granted and trample mercilessly on each others feelings ; when our tongue utters ALL the thoughts in our head that we FAIL to FILTER before throwing them out to each other . This film is full of reflection over this evil : taking each other´s reactions and feelings for granted. Hurting and tampling on another by insensitive egotism or selfishness . This film illustrates the damage over time, to ourselves and others, such callousness effects.
