Crazy, Not Insane
(2020)

Not what I was expecting
I thought it would be a scientific explanation of criminal minds. Yet it was more of a one side bias. Hoped for more serious academic data. It seems use only the research of one psychiatrist and her colleagues while others are left out. It's also quite hard to take the word of criminals seriously especially when it seems like they were manipulating them.

But what really made me stop were the abuse stories. Couldn't stomach it. Everyone should be punished for their crimes, I was upset that their parents weren't sentenced to death with them. I also wished they would let us know beforehand that some subjects included child abuse descriptions. It's not ok to just be thrown some very graphic descriptions about abuse.

Rogue Agent
(2022)

Good!
Better than I expected but there was a rape scene which should have had a trigger warning. There is also so many unanswered questions which makes the movie quite difficult to understand.

Travelers
(2016)

One of the few programs out there that are simply great
Most of our modern programs are woke and boring. Or are filed with soft pkrn to attract viewers. This program is both interesting and suspenseful. It's a pity they discontinued it!

Conversations with a Killer: The John Wayne Gacy Tapes
(2022)

Difficult to digest
As a mother it is hard to watch. Took me several attempts to go through with it. To see the family's suffering, to know that some will remain unknown was very painful. I am happy that there was justice, but at the same time it took too long! We came a long way since the 70s. The serie could have explored how childhood abuse can create monsters. I do not defend him, but to hear about his abuse was also difficult. I hope this helps parents keep an eye on their kids and how they are raising them.

Elvis
(2022)

Good but can we admit Elvis was not all that perfect
The movie and story is heart warming yet there is this strong attempt to side him with the black people when the truth is far from this. To put it simple, he took black talent and profit from it because he was white and could.

Spiderhead
(2022)

Boring boring boring
They added sexual content to make it appealing for at least 10 seconds but my goodness this was painful to watch. How could they manage to get good actors to even film this??

Jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy
(2022)

Warm-hearted
I am not a hip hop nor rap fan and what I've known of Kayne West was mostly from the news. This documentary shows a young man trying to fulfill his dreams and a sweet supportive mom who was inspiring him all the way through. It brought a new perspective regarding Kayne West. It is a nice documentary.

Cruella
(2021)

Another disney agenda...
Definitely boring and full with le*ft propaganda. Gosh cant they please stop trying to force their annoying views on people even on little kids? There is no more evil, stealing is good if justifiable, gender fluid, bad is good, gosh it's cheesy and annoying. Made me want to go watch the older version from 96.

The Banker
(2020)

Makes you remember that racism is not over
Felt so bad for these men! Great movie and performance!

Spenser Confidential
(2020)

I mean if you have nothing better to watch
It's unimpressive but at the same time not painful to watch. You can actually enjoy some of the scenes

1917
(2019)

Amazing
There were no cut scenes it felt like one big amazing plot. Just terrific! Good way to start the year.

Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker
(2019)

I would have given 1 but that's offensive
The left agenda at the end with a gay kiss? Bestowing life? So many resurrection and dead appearances? Plot holes? Weird powers like a Zeus's novel or something...this was indeed the worst star wars. Incredibly commercial, lack of awe inspiring good story. Just a mess! Why on earth did Ben's mom die just to say "Ben"??? Seriously I give it a 3 at least for the effort and some nice scenes. The rest was awful.

American Son
(2019)

Sad but good
I believe it's the sad reality for so many black people. I particularly felt the pain. As a mixed girl you never fit in neither in black or white communities. Yet you suffer as a black person. Made me scared to move back to the USA. I'm married to a white guy! Great acting and more than I expected from the movie

Terminator: Dark Fate
(2019)

Dont listen to the bad reviews
The movie was amazing! Left me on the edge the whole time! I loved it! Seriously it was great!

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil
(2019)

Quite boring
There was a mixture of old themes such as the sleeping beauty, the beauty and the beast, avatar...all of them together with Angelina Jolie posing sexy and barely doing anything interesting. The obvious cliches, the predictable end and of course the evil=Christianity and devil=not so bad theme. I wonder how it even managed to get to the screens! I am more upset that I wasted my time going.

Joker
(2019)

Brilliant
The construction of the character is just mind blowing. Went without any expectation yet at the end people even clapped. Just brilliant!

The Spy
(2019)

Incredibly sad
Because of the beginning of the series that pointed out the obvious (spy dies) I decided to watch some episodes but didnt have the stomach for the rest. As a married woman who has a lovely husband just as Nadia did it was too painful to imagine her situation and how nowadays she still hope for the remains of her beloved husband. But sasha is magnificent and the serie (for the episodes I did watch) were amazing. Nice that he could shift from comedy to a serious flick and do it wonderfully.

Ad Astra
(2019)

Brad Pitt and Sandra Bullock should have stayed on the moon
This movie was bad. I love Brad Pitt as an actor but this was just too much forced acting. The forced tears, the plot holes...wow I couldn't believe they had the courage to even go through with it. Dont waste your money folks. You can tell me later if I was wrong!

Midsommar
(2019)

Dont waste your money
This movie is a brainfart. Seriously? Typical cult like movie only with bizarre scenes to catch people's attention. Dont trust reviews out there. They must have paid someone to write them. What a bad trip movie.

Stuber
(2019)

Don't listen to the bad reviews
This movie though cliche was very funny and cute. Loved it!!

Ghostland
(2018)

Pretty decent movie!
There were some holes here and there and I kept wondering 'why this and that', but for the rest of the movie I was quit impressed. I like how the scenes were 'real'. No fake scary parts, or dumb plot.

Get Out
(2017)

Best movie of our time!
My first review of a movie, because I never felt any movie deserved my time for a review (modern movies). But this one is a MUST! Finally something good out there, intriguing, and original. Watch it! The author is incredible and the way the movie is set out as well. 10 out of 10!
