Detective McLean
(2015)

Are only 10 episodes
It's really hard when you find an amazing series with no vulgarity that's safe and it only had 10 episodes. I wish I had looked ahead of time so I didn't get so hooked on it. It was put together really well with a very talented cast, family, love and devotion, teen drama & action! I wouldn't even suggest that somebody start watching the series because it's so disappointing when it's over so many sides of the family dynamic were touched upon, but I think almost all of us can relate to! Abandonment issues, peer pressure, codependency, even a dirty cop or two. But the characters are believable the way they interact with each other and you fall in love with the family from the first episode.

There's always hope
It's a wonderful mix of joy, suspense, pain, forgiveness, hopelessness, restoration, and faith. When there seems to be no justice, that's where faith comes in. I only gave it seven stars because lead actor was a little lacking in his acting abilities and his lip-synching. It's a little low budget, but the story makes up for it and makes it a truly satisfying experience in the end. If you keep an open mind and hang in there, it's a truly encouraging story that reminds us, God loves even the least of us sinners, that he loves us more than we can imagine, and that he will never give up on us! Because there's always hope.

Horror?
I love a scary movie! This has the potential & never got there. They were so focused on discrimination and carrying that storyline throughout that they forgot the horror. Yes, discrimination is horrible but there should be a rating for that! They touched briefly on a couple of ways the story could've gone to make it interesting even terrifying but instead redirected back it back to racism. It's a great movie for someone looking to get riled up about the injustices of racism but I hardly think that this attempt at a titled "horror" Movie is going to change a racists mind about their biases.

So sad 😭
I love action, sci-fi, superheroes and I was excited by the fact that they had a code! I was even willing to overlook the less harsh vulgar language until they had to use the Lord's full name in vain. I know I sound like a girl scout and back in the day I would have loved the show and that wouldn't have bothered me a bit. I like the cast and had already become attached to the characters before that happened but at this point in my life I'm out.

Great action virtually cuss free
It was such a refreshing change of pace compared to what Hollywood is putting out now to find a movie with action, romance, suspense & justice without the constant barrage of vulgarity!! Thank you!!

The Basket

Excellent family film
This movie contains so many things that I look for in a movie. It has romance, suspense, history, teamwork, forgiveness and acceptance. It's just nice to find a film that is safe from homosexual scenes, gunfights, drug use and foul language among the options available today. Mind you this was filmed 21 years ago but I enjoyed it and was able to be entertained peacefully 💜

Why vulgarity?
Can't we just have some good movies that the family can sit down and watch together without being accosted by the F bomb? The movie was full of fantasy, action, suspense, drama and then as my heart was breaking for that little girls situation BAM! 😒

Monster Trucks
(2016)

Action packed
A little of everything in this movie! Action, drama, romance, sacrifice, good guys and bad guys, underdogs and heroes~

Reprisal

Horrible
Like most people I watched it because Bruce Willis is in it and I've never seen a bad movie that he's been in but this one was cheesy, predictable and the script is total crap! The music doesn't even go appropriately with the scenes it's playing over! Very disappointing the only reason it got 2 stars is because Bruce is in it.
