Stars Fell on Alabama
(2021)

Exactly what I thought it would be
I don't know about you, but me and my wife we like to watch mediocre rom-com movies from time to time and that's exactly what this movie was like. It was cheesy, cliché, and all that, but in the end it makes you feel good. Don't expect too much and you'll be happy with it :)

Behind Her Eyes
(2021)

Thrilling twists
I didn't watch the trailer before playing this TV series. I though that it's a classic thriller and it was until the fourth episode. Adding those paranormal things in the fourth episode was a surprise and usually I don't like twists like that, but the show actually got better in the 5th episode and became the best in the last (6th episode). The main characters were good too. Tom Bateman reminded me of Josh Holloway (Lost) in some of the scenes and he's accent was entertaining. Simona Brown did a good job (although the scenes where she was supposed to be frightened were a little bit unconvincing). Finally, we have Eve Hewson. She's probably my favorite here. Interesting diction, good appearance and she seems to adjust her acting well in different situations.

Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel
(2021)

One hour is enough
It took them two episodes to conclude that this girl was under medicated? I mean why was she walking and moving like that? Did they really believed that there were ghosts involved? Come on. And what's up with those internet sleuths? These people were as creepy as the black metal guy. I agree with another user here who said that the police should check on that so-called Internet sleuth who asked someone to touch Lisa's grave. What the heck!? Oh and about the black metal guy. There was a good point there - the Internet mobs are a real thing. People can start a witch hunt over the Internet in a matter of hours even though they don't have real evidence. Yet, that guy was a freak. Making songs about killing people and worshiping evil and he says "they made me paranoid, I was scared, it could happen to anyone". Truth be told, he needs help too. Mental help that is.
