Sweet Magnolias
(2020)

Dana Sue is no Sookie St James.
Dana Sue is my least favorite character, just something about her irritates me. She's always moody and seems miserable all the time. There are sweet moments then there are no way that would happen moments, yes it's a show in a make up perfect sweet town but let's be real. The brothers are spoiled brats who think what they are going through with the divorce trumps everyone else problems. Their mother thinks those are only her kids and what she says goes ,her husband who cheated on her not their kids is trying but she won't let him. The only real person is Helen. The other side characters need more air time. It's not bad but could be better.

The Handmaid's Tale
(2017)

Yeah ok we get it..
We get it, June is angry, she wants revenge, she wants her daughter back..but it's taking forever. She had many opportunities to get her daughter but the decisions she made always backfired. She's has become a Nuisance. She goes out and does whatever she wants, she ignores her husband and her friend. She only cares about her revenge nobody else's. And literally every other post is about how we are over her snarling dead stare glares. She has become a person who does not care about anyone else feelings or wants. It's all about her. Dragging this out won't make us want more. Let's end this already.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life
(2016)

We wanted this. Right?
Rory, not the perfect kid, she's the other women (guess she didn't learn her lesson w/Dean), she's jobless, homeless & broke..you know real life stuff. I'm happy they didn't turn this into a perfect catch up on everyone episodes. Luke & Lorelai are still in the same place. Loved seeing the reg town people. Ugh Emily is still the same mean, bitter, self centered person, she didn't soften up even after Richards death. The ending, Luke & Lorelai finally marry. Rory pregnant, obviously it's Logan's...Logan is like Lorelais Christopher and Jess is Rory's Luke. That's how I see it,& I'm happy with that.

Speak No Evil
(2022)

Yup, they let them.
Possible to like & hate a movie at the same time? We'll I did. There has been soooo many red flags. There were so many times to leave, no need to explain and make the hosts feel good, you don't know them, & even if you do who cares. When the husband saw pictures of what this couple does then finds poor little Abel in the pool that's when you grab a weapon and bolt out of there, & tell your wife! I'm sure when you have a little feeling your family will be murdered you fight like hell, punch, kick ,scratch ,scream, turn into an animal. Nope they literally "let them" like he said. I was frustrated yet ehh you should have done something.

The Bear
(2022)

Still a little intense but worth it.
Season one gave me anxiety with the constant yelling for at many time no reason at all..but enjoyed it..Season 2 still has yelling but not as much but still yelling for no real big reason I mean .even at a family Christmas dinner I did Love how some of characters got a growth episode. Not the biggest fan of Sydney. She kind of feels she should be informed on ALL the decisions. She kind of acts like she's a partner or part owner the way she acts...again not a fan of Sydney...Other than that love it.it's really amazing in all the feels.

From
(2022)

Good show..however..
The family that arrives are annoying as hell. The father thinks he has say or acts like he has a right on what goes on, like you JUST arrived, mellow out & stop with the angry over protective father bit. The mom is irritating for some reason, the teenage daughter is well, a bratty teen..I'm rooting for the little kid. Oh And more "monsters" please. Hoping for a season 2.

Firestarter
(2022)

#6 reason to stop making remakes
Remakes are a hit or miss..this was definitely a miss. It felt rushed..there was no connection to anyone..I didn't feel bad for her like the original. Original she was sweet and innocent and didn't know what was happening..but this one she had major anger issues from the get go..no character build up. Sometimes you do want it to be closer to original because that's what we remember and loved.

Death on the Nile
(2022)

To my surprise it was actually good.
I mean it isn't a jammed packed action movie..it was a little slow but this movie isn't meant to be anything but slow..it takes time to develop the characters, to know the characters and believe non of them would murder but yet believe all of them would be a killer. I would watch this movie any day over any Fast and Furious movies.

Deep Water
(2022)

Not good.
Obviously Vic's wife has a sex addiction...Vic accepts it because his wife is sexy & beautiful, that's all... He hates it but accepts it which is weird. Vic believes that being married & having a child is the reason to stay. And obviously Melinda tells her lovers she's in a open marriage because they all go to their home and friends homes and display their affection & flirtation with each other in front of everyone. Everyone knows. Melinda's side guys makes her feel good & Vic killing her side guys makes him feel better..& she pretty much accepts the killing's, why? Because of her, his love for her...it's a perfect marriage. It was slow & boring. Maybe if there was more to it..but there wasn't.

Ozark
(2017)

Still amazing
It's still a great show. I hate the Byrde women. Their teenage daughter Charlotte threatened Helen's daughter like she was in the Cartel, ridiculous. I actually hate Wendy more than I hate Walter Whites wife Skyler. Ruth will always be my favorite. And poor Marty trying to get everyone from doing whatever the hell they want.

Don't Look Up
(2021)

Definitely look up
Great movie. Many don't like it,why? Maybe a little to real? Those giving the 1 & 2 star ratings are wearing their red hats definitely chanting "Don't look up!" Lmao.

Ghosts
(2021)

It was fun, different.
So many negative Nancy's with the " Watch the original "..if I wanted to watch the original I would have. 2 episodes in and it was entertaining. Finally something else besides a Cop show, a Firefighter show, a Medical show.... I can go on. Give it a chance. Get off the hamster wheel.

The Guilty
(2021)

Eh
Emily was annoying, the whiny crying was a bit much, it was irritating. And Joe has major angry issues, as well as other issues....why isn't anyone concerned when he's always yelling, throwing and destroying the things in the community office? Is this the way emergency dispatchers are? Do they really get this emotional and super attached to callers? Do they ignore all other calls? Yell and cuss those who are asking for help? Aren't dispatch calls being recorded and supervisors listen in? And why is Joe even working at Emergency dispatch when he's going to court for a serous offense? Not realistic at all.

Gunpowder Milkshake
(2021)

Knives to a gun fight?
When you have a diner full of bad guys and everyone of them doesn't own a gun? I get it..it's not realistic but come on. So I guess we should be happy 5 women can kill about 40 men? Sure why not.

Élite
(2018)

Trying to hard.
Season 1,2 ,& 3 were really good. It made you want more. Season 4 not so much. It makes not sense. The 3 siblings act and dress like they run the school just because their father is head principal, yet their father is super strict with students but not his kids? Ari dresses and acts like she's a 30 year old socialite, IN SCHOOL. They all bore me now. Hope this is the last season.

Panic
(2021)

Not bad, but not great
It was worth watching but some of the acting was bad...but in later episodes it did get better... and how are we to believe actors who literally look like they are 30 are supposed to be 17/18?

Wrong Turn
(2021)

Needs a different title.
Why name a movie that has NOTHING to do with the original? Just call it something else.

Clarice
(2021)

To many flashbacks.
I know it's only 2 episodes but are they going to keep showing continuous flashbacks of Buffalo Bill and her past as a kid? We get it..she was a little traumatized, but we don't need to see it all the time she sees running water or a leaf flying in the wind,,seems like everything around her reminds her of something bad that happened. Let's just stick to the cases and move forward. Maybe it'll get better. Fingers crossed. Make it a little scary and creepy and I'm on board.

Big Sky
(2020)

What I saw, I liked.
I keep seeing "main character killed off" who ever said he was the main character? Because he's Ryan Phillippe? Judge it after maybe 3 or 4 episodes. So many with the attention span of a goldfish.

Utopia
(2020)

Not bad/not good.
It's right in the middle..it keeps you interested yet it quickly fizzles. Jessica Hyde is unlikeable, she literally murders one from the group because she spoke up. And how can the rest of her " friends" keep walking over her dead bloody body and not seem to care. Bury her! It is what it is.. never saw the original but after this..I definitely will.

Home Before Dark
(2020)

Good mystery, but not really believable.
It was a good mystery as in the sense you really wanted to know what happened next so you kept watching..the acting was really great. But in the real world who lets a child interview a librarian and the librarian confessing everything to this 9 year old child..everyone seemed to do and let this 9 year old kid do whatever she wanted. She literally just walked out of class and left school like nothing and no one cared. She was never punished for anything. Not believable... But of course I will watch next season to see what happened.

I Am Not Okay with This
(2020)

I want more
I'm not ok with this,..I'm not ok that it was way to short. Can't wait for season 2.its a definitely bing worthy show.

Prodigal Son
(2019)

Give it a chance.
It was pretty good..not amazingly great but good..new shows always have a slow start, but eventually they get better. Comparing it to Hannibal or Mindhunter is ridiculous, totally different shows. And it has a creepy Micheal Sheen, that's a plus.
