This movie is truly terrible. Its been massacred by all the movie critics in Sweden. Its supposed to be an sex-education movie, but I think it tries to hard to reach out to young people, so hard in fact that it has an opposite effect! A terrible fault this movie has is the actors. The woman who is supposed to teach girls how to masturbate is almost clean shaven on her vagina. This is NOT how most girls look "down stairs" The actor looks more like a porn star.

The script in the movie is extremely cheesy and bad. This movie WAS intended to be the main sex-education movie for kids in schools in Sweden but has been covered with dust since its so bad. So in conclusion this movie was a terrible disappointment!

Strandvaskaren is one of the very few Swedish horror movies in existence, this does not make it good in any way. The potential of the movie is fairly good. Old ghoulish folklore can always be used to create a great horror flick, but the director has made some incredible faults.

The sounds is bad... The effects are cheesy and bad at best. When a knife cuts someone it usually has blood on it? LOL.

The actors does an okay job with a quite bad script. So I really don't have any heavy complaints there.

But still its fun to see a Swedish horror movie, I hope that more will be done but this movie was a complete waste of time. I gave it 3/10 and consider it to be almost a to high number.

This movie is pretty good. For us who where in our teens when the movie came out its quite nostalgic.

Its about young love between "John-John" and "Elisabeth". Elisabeth is a typical Swedish girl and John-John has a different nationality. They both come from different segments of the city. "John" is on the poor side of the lake, Elisabeth on the rich side.

Its a quite romantic movie and cute in some ways. It will not be forgotten by us who were in our teens when it came out thats for sure. I don't think that many people other than swedes have seen this movie. I'm not sure if people from other countries would like it. You kinda had to be here 1996 and be a teen :-)

I'll give the movie 7/10 because of the nostalgia! :-D

I remember when I first saw this movie. I was like 12 years old. I thought it was cool as h*ll ! I actually saw it again today. Its a very good movie.

Sal Lopez does a very good job playing the Mexican crimelord in the Mexican maffia, "LaEme"

I think that the film shows us all that there is hope. Even for the hopeless. In the end, Santana realises whats important in life.

very good actors in the movie period. It may seem a little bit old even for a 90:es flick.

The movie Jungle fever is pretty good, however I dont think its a good mirror on todays sociaty or even the 90's.

I DONT like the term "interracial dating" or talk about diffrent races. All that talk belongs back in the days of slavery. A person is of the race HUMAN no matter what his colour is! Because of USA's awfull history, the Black/white issues have always been strong and complex. But its 2004! That people are still talking about races is sad. There is only one race, HUMAN.

There is A LOT of man and womans who have diffrent colour who are together and they have never felt even 1% of the problems that are shown in the movie jungle fever.

I think some people are MAKING it a big issue. For gods sake we are all the same!
