The story line is nothing new but that said the experience is new. The play of emotions is very well handled. Songs and background score both are great. This elevates the experience in theatre for sure. Dhanush has done brilliantly in both departments - acting and direction. Yes, the movie has violence and blood shed but it is not that vulgar and is very much watchable for all kinds of audience. The stunt is great. The intensity of dhanush acting is unmatched. The story execution is well balanced with no obvious flaws or loopholes. It's an experience in theatre. The songs are sure to stay with you for some time and you would start appreciating Dhanush for his work. I wonder how come sun pictures get to produce all movies. I travelled 100+ kms to watch it in theatre and it was worth it. We all enjoyed it.

Nice movie. Must watch. Takes you on a nice emotional ride with comedy blended in it. All the actors did a great job. The lead actor looked like a blend of actor Jay and Vignesh Sivan. Anyone who likes kids would relate more. Kudos to the direction team for the right balance. Songs are nice, well connected with viewers. There are some dramatic elements in the movie which is not too much so it went well with the story.

Only downside of the movie is again red giant (dmk) using their muscles took control of this movie. I wish more producers and distributors gets their fair chance and is more diverse than one family.

Loved it. Very realistic. Natural acting by all. Reminded of 80's and 90's childhood. This movie teaches us the value of small small things. Money is taken for granted these days. Good movie for all family members to watch. Thanks for the production house, distributors, streaming partner, director and actors for such good movie. Thank god, sun pictures did not show interest in this and take it. It did not have the masala, money earning tactics like Kuthu songs, action, hot stuff. Etc. It has a humble story well very depicted. We need more movies like this to come. Even by big actors. The love of a dad is unparalleled and more than often children returns it better.

100 marks for the intention of the movie. Vijay's acting also is apt to the story. His thinking and direction is sharp. Graphics is a little outdated probably due to limited budget. Very nice philosophical thoughts with ethics in mind. This kind of cinema needs to be encouraged. It doesn't glorify alcohol or any bad things in any way and only glorifies good things. Yes certain scenes are filmy but that was forgivable considering the good intent of the film and a decent job. In comparison, most Malayalam movies glorify alcohol. Movies not only should try to depict the truth but should also set a positive trend for future. Not glorifying alcohol and other drugs should is itself a great thing. And thanks for showing religions in the true spirit.

This was a horrific incident that happened in our area. I have had first hand information from many grandparents and their friends when I was a kid. For years due to politics and fake secularism they were twisting and hiding about this. Finally now, at least some relief to the countless Hindus who were brutally murdered for trusting some. There are so many documented evidences from British records in spite of many evidences burnt away! This is a must watch for all people of India. Forgive but not forget the history. Truth has finally made its way to people. Thanks to the director and team.

Great acting by the crew. Of course, VFX in certain places could have been better but with the political pressure, gundaism, lack of producers, lack of actors willing to act being scared and so many other struggles. This team has brought the truth to the people. Hats off to the whole crew. The souls of those people who died in this mapla lahla will thank this team that finally their voice came out to the public. I sincerely hope people are matured enough to watch history as it is. It is what it is. No need to hide anything what happened.

Thankfully after many decades, there is a movie to showcase the true culture of kerala since time immemorial. This movie has everything a family needs to watch. If you are an ayyappa devotee. This movie is a treat to watch. Even otherwise it is a must watch movie for any normal sensible person. This temple is one of Kerala's lifeline and no movie showcasing good about it since many decades. Thanks to the director, producer and Unni Mukundan ! India is now truly connecting to its roots and originality. So glad to see ground reality stories that we could relate to our childhoods. Movies like this should come often.

Prithvi looks fantastic and making also is decent. But same old story, masala. There are more than 1000 films in the same formula. One person hitting 100 persons etc. If it's tagged as a commercial, then there is nothing entertaining other than one person hitting action. Watch only if you want to. It's not at all a thriller. No comedy. No dance. No story. Not much songs (not required if story was engaging) . Only vettu kuthu presented in a modern and stylish way. Time pass watchable.

Some logics just doesn't add up. Can watch it for prithvi style and mass if ur a fan. If it's based on real story like raktha charithra, then no compliants. Still couple of nice action songs or music should have pumped up.

Movie is totally out of any logics and sense. There is no relatable factor. Standard masala formula of sun pictures and the agenda gang since ages.

1 to 20 people fight sequence. Unrealistic mass. Make fun of Hinduism as usual (rubs of sacred ash and shows it in poor taste). Standard sentiment scene. Standard masala songs and jiggu jiggu dress patterns. Only good thing of movie is Sivakarthikeyen was adorable and did a great job.

Sun pictures and it's corporate cousins should stop grabbing movies unethically. This is really killing creating creativity and director freedom or other producer opportunities.

Beautifully well done. Masterpiece. Have a bit of patience and you will enjoy it. Need of the hour.

Good movie and reflects our past pretty accurately !

We need to protect the desi cows. Cows were a lifeline to a whole society for generations. This movie is crafted very nicely without overdoing anything. Would recommend to watch !

Worth watching. Nice movie. The movie is a bit long but there is a lot of story to tell. As always Aishwarya Rajesh and vijay sethupathy means it's minimum guarantee for story. Based on true events. It's worth the watch.

Possibly everything in the movie is bad. Don't waste your time. One of the worst movies of life. Horrible acting by most of them in the movie, childish script, which is seen in 80's till 2000 many many times. From here on can't trust the rating for telugu movies.

A light hearted movie with a nice message and laughter. Good Movie for a casual watch. Proper Entertainer.

A neat entertainment package with lots of emotions and realistic acting. Loved it. In fact this was worth more than the average rating and surprised me.
