Scents and Sensibility
(2011)

Loved watching the movie..can't complain
The start of the movie is a little lousy and drastic however as you move further into the characters, the movie starts to gain momentum and catch your heart.

Especially after the entry of the two male characters, the movie picks a nice touch romance and misunderstanding..nothing too innovative but well handled.

The acting of all the main characters is very good. Although Nick Zano does not have a lot of role to play in the movie, he does make an impression with his acting, especially in the scenes in the copy room, showing confidence of a successful professional and awkwardness of someone who just started dating.

The climax of the movie could have been a little elaborate, although it does its job. I would highly recommend watching the movie at leisure.

Gola Berij
(2012)

Not bad at all
The story focuses on the characters from famous comedy books Golaberij and Vyakti Ani Valli written by one of his own kind Marathi writer Pu La Deshpande. A little disconnected because the stories switch in context, but not hard to catch the flow at all. I loved it because I had read the books little too many times. But should not be a problem if you have not read the books either. Some characters such as Nanda by Subodh Bhave and Antu Barva by Dilip Prabhavalkar are really awesome. I also like the actor who performs Pu La. He looks exactly like Pu La. Some stories like Narayan do not take a grip while the story moves to a new character. Some actors could have been better, but every thing can be forgivable when the story is about Pu La.

Rama Madhav
(2014)

Awesome mix of romantic comedy and drama
Just watched रमा माधव. Awesome mix of romantic comedy and drama. You can actually see the glory of Marathi culture during peshwa rule in the movie and great direction by mrunal Kulkarni. I was impressed. I wasn't expecting any comedy at all . It was a sweet surprise.

This is a love story of 17th century of Madhavrao Peshwa assuming duties of Prime minister of Maratha Empire in his early 20s and his wife Ramaa. The story engages itself into sweet romance and how life of young aggressive peshwa is complemented by soft and sensitive wife. Their love cherishes to the point where they cannot stay apart for a second.

I did not know that their love story was so classic I had thought that it would have been copy of the famous book swami. But the book starts only after interval
