Murder by Numbers
(2002)

Poorest by far!!
Like the killers in the movie who failed at trying to be witty and interesting, so has this movie. The plot was slow, boring, and the cast just couldn't support it. There were also some scenes that I thought were just ridiculous. This is definitely one of Sandra Bullocks poorest films and one of the poorest of all time.

Too much, too little time
This movie tried to do too much in too little time. It was suppose to be a martial arts, love, friendship and hate film. It tried to be intense, then funny. Like many of the present day HK films, they have to make everything comical. I actually thought this would be a serious film, but it was comedy/drama, and i don't think that's a good combo at all. All in all, this movied tried to do too much in too little time and ended up nothing at all!!

Very Enjoyable
This is one of the movies I'd recommend to anyone in want of a good movie. It was very enjoyable and although there weren't unpredictable twists, it didn't fail to keep me attentive.

Story-line: Lon (Daniel Wu) was born with an injured face. Him an his brother are hired killers until something happened, which prompts a turn in the story.

Stephen Fung and Daniel Wu both gave awesome performances. Although, I haven't seen many HK films, it seems that they are taking a turn and for the better. Very enjoyable.

stumbled upon a good movie.
This movie may not contain a great, powerful story, but it is comprised of great actors, facetious characters. If you are looking for drama, go elsewhere, because there isn't any here. All the movie contains is laughter, smiles and all the elements necessary for a good light hearted movie.

I didn't know what to expect when I got the movie, but was hoping for it to be worth while. As it turns out, I've stumbled upon a good movie, for it was worth my while and I'd definitely watch it again. Perhaps again and again!!

Not so typical....
Typical HK movies are bad!! However, this movie is not so typical. There is an extra element in this movie that makes it glow from the rest. Seto Asaka, the Japanese actress, helped save this movie from being another typical, bad HK flick. Asaka has the ability to light up the screen and she's why I decided to see this movie. Indeed, Asaka shined even in the not so perfect world of HK films.

Not too shabby.
The actors were all new to me. I've not watched HK films in years before watching this one, and compared to the horrible movies i've seen before, the ones that left me wanting a refund for my time, this wasn't so bad. The faces were fresh and some of them were just eye candy, a definite incentive to see this film again and again. Of course, if you are one to watch for interesting plots, HK films aren't for you.
