Incredibly poorly done
Have to agree this was a complete waste of some good actors' skills and time.
This series began with just enough to create interest in watching Season 2 which then rapidly declined into something close to absolute farce!
Could you imagine sitting in the waiting room in that Vet practice putting up with all that foolishness going on around you? The stepmother storyline was just so overdone - the exotic Malta connection?!?and was this meant to seriously be drama? Did not realise this was a soap opera/comedy and then to end so abruptly when we had persisted to episode 12 season two... Yorkshire scenery is the star and quite beautiful, but Have to say I agree with others that this is completely disappointing and totally unrealistic plot.
