A Town Called Malice
(2023)

Its The Business movie, for TV
Big fan of Nick Love so I thought I would give it a bash.

Your typical NL stuff and if you are a fan of The Business with Danny Dyer, then its typically that but over 8 episodes.

Even the soundtrack takes its music and add a new twist here and there but its got cockney written right down the middle of it.

So if 80s kitsch is your thing, and cockney gangsters abroad floats your boat, this will no doubt tickle your fancy.

The language is toned down ie not a C bomb in site (almost Eastenders like) and isnt a million milee off the Sexy Beast tv series, though this isnt connected to The Business universe, it could be.

Til Death Do Us Part
(2023)

Mr & Mrs Smith, via Wish
Potential to be good, but very long, zero chemistry between the 2 leads, and a strange direction from start to finish.

Cam as the psycho best man is hamming it up throughout and doing his best Ryan Reynolds impression, but its overacting at its most mediocre. Its almost camp.

The lead isnt awful as the hit fiancee, taking names and ripping chainsaws. But I think this role needed someone with much more personality and charisma.

The male lead is as bland and 2 dimensional as the dvd cover, the couple just dont have a connection, unlike Pitt and Jolie in the much more entertaining version from 2005.

Watch that again, its more fun and sensible than this mess.

Tulsa King: Happy Trails
(2023)
Episode 9, Season 1

Best new show of 2022 bar none
Seriously, this show has given me something new to look forward to weekly and Stallones transition to television feels perfectly timed. The role of a lifetime.

Really well written show with so many great characters. The best antagonist on tv since Walter White graced our screens.

Its got better and better by the week with a superb blend of drama, action and humour.

The cliffhanger has me screaming for episode 10 and I wish show was on daily.

I can see Stallone at least being nominated for an emmy this year and the show should receive plenty of additional nominations, Andrea Savage is also standout.
