Hamilton got in on the January 6 anniversary act, so why not Rent?
CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night set the anniversary to music with a parody version of Rent’s “Season of Love,” examining the 525,600 since the insurrection through the show’s comedic lens.
Changing the lyrics of Jonathan Larson’s song to include references to Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Rudolph Giuliani, Donald Trump Jr. and various “treasonous dimwits,” the musical number titled “Abhor-Rent: 525,600 Minutes Since The Insurrection” describes those involved in the day of infamy as a bum, a skunk, a drunk and “like Mussolini but dumb” (watch the video above to see who’s who).
Late Show airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on CBS and streams online via Paramount+.

Grey's Anatomy season 16 is nearly upon us, and by our math, we're due for some capital-d Drama. While the past few seasons have had their fair share of heartbreak, shocking twists, and near-death experiences, they've been largely tame compared to the death- and disaster-fueled seasons of the past. Characters have fallen in love, gotten married, had babies, reunited with lost loves, and thwarted death. Especially after the largely upbeat "Season of Love," it feels like we're living on borrowed time when it comes to the oddly satisfying devastation that only Grey's can offer.
But just because it seems like high time that Grey's Anatomy ripped our hearts out of our chests and stomped on them doesn't mean that we're not also due for some other big developments as well. Season 15 ended with nearly every character in a major state of upheaval, setting up some big questions that will need to...

Now that the fog that rolled in with the finale of Grey’s Anatomy has begun to dissipate, we’re looking back and seeing more clearly the 25 tumultuous episodes that made up the Season of Love. They were doozies, no?
Between the hookups and letdowns, the true confessions and insurance fraud, there was nary a dull moment — and so! Many! Memorable ones!
So, to bridge the gap between Season 15’s conclusion and Season 16’s beginning — why must summers be so damn long?!? — we’re counting down the 15 sexiest, sweetest, saddest scenes of the season that we just finished. Keep in mind,...
