Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt, right here on Nerdly. Let’s get straight into the review and see what happened this week…
Match #1: Tyler Bate def. Grayson Waller The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Grayson Waller was out to prove something after losing to Bron Breakker at Nxt Vengeance Day, but he couldn’t quite overcome the Big Strong Boi. Both men were evenly matched with Bate using his innovative offense to keep the wily Waller off-balance. Still clearly focused on his backstage issues with Shawn Michaels, Waller tried mocking the Heartbreak Kid, but it backfired and nearly cost him the match. The action continued at a frenzied pace, but Waller’s attempt to use the ropes as leverage during a pin was spotted by the referee, and the momentary lapse in judgment allowed Bate to reverse it into the winning pin.
My Score: 3 out...

Madrid-based Aqui y Alli, producer of two of last decade’s most admired Spanish movies – 2014’s San Sebastian winner “Magical Girl”; 2018’s “Life and Nothing More,” a Variety Top 10 film of the year – has pacted for “[Rec]”’s Filmax to handle international sales on “Counting Sheep,” one of the most anticipated Spanish feature debuts of 2020.
Filmax, which has acquired international sales rights, will also handled “Counting Sheep’s” theatrical release in Spain.
The deal extends a relationship between Aqui y Allí and Filmax which distributed Aquí y Allí’s “Boi,” released on Netflix outside Spain.
Described as a dark comedic thriller sluiced by caustic wit, “Counting Sheep,” the first feature of José Corral, will be introduced to buyers by Filmax at this week’s Cannes Marché du Film, who will have access to an exclusive Making Of promo showing what the sheep look like.
Also written by Corral, the acerbic comedy,...

Last November, the producer Ninetyfour was eagerly expecting his first major-label placement. “I was supposed to be on the Game’s album,” Ninetyfour recalls. “They asked us to do the paperwork, Ascap information, ‘Bet, we’re gonna be on the album.’ It comes down to it — it’s not on there. That was supposed to be my first one, so I was kind of devastated. My spirits was low.”

San Sebastian – Barcelona-based Lastor Media and Malmo Pictures have teamed with San Sebastian’s Irusoin to produce “Suro” (The Cork), the feature debut of Mikel Gurrea and a product of San Sebastian’s Ikusmira Berriak program.
The film stars Laia Costa, who broke through with Sebastian Schipper’s “Victoria” and also serves as executive producer, and Pol López (Josep M. Fontana’s “Boi”). “Suro” is scheduled to start shooting next year.
Set in the Empordà region of Catalonia, close to the French border, “Suro” is a Catalan-language dramatic thriller with an auteurist voice but aimed at wider audiences, according to its producers.
The news comes as Irusoin, producers of “Loreak,” Spain’s international Oscar entry in 2015, world premieres in main competition section “The Endless Trench,” directed by Aitor Arregi, Jon Garaño and Jose Mari Goenaga. Another Irusoin production, Asier Altuna and Telmo Esnal’s “Agur Etxebeste,” a sequel of “Aupa Etxebeste!
