Unspeakable is the latest channel to step into the Fast lane. The content brand led by creator Nathan Milner has announced a new app that will bundle Unspeakable clips for distribution on free, ad-supported TV channels.
The app comes out of a partnership between content studio FilmRise and over-the-top distributor Future Today. The two firms announced Unspeakable’s Fast foray during a VidCon Anaheim session that featured FilmRise Head of Content Jonitha Keymoore and Future Today SVP of Content and Partnerships David Di Lorenzo.
Last year, FilmRise announced that it was working with YouTubers to bring their content to TV screens. Unspeakable has been a recurring partner for FilmRise’s creator-to-tv pipeline, and the new app — which Future Today will design and host — is the latest extension of that accord.
The app will include 200 hours of content from the Unspeakable YouTube channels, including the main hub as well as the UnspeakablePlays destination.

Pavan Grover, a writer and producer on the recent action thriller “97 Minutes” starring Alec Baldwin, has spoken out about standing firm with the star in the aftermath of “Rust.”
Grover, a Houston-based spinal surgeon with a passion for cinema, debuted as a writer in 2002 with “Unspeakable” starring Dennis Hopper, and served as a producer on “Odd Thomas” (2013), based on Dean Koontz’s novel and directed by Stephen Sommers (“The Mummy”).
Grover pitched the idea of “97 Minutes” — a ticking-clock thriller in which a hijacked airplane has 97 minutes before it runs out of fuel — when he met Baldwin serendipitously at Sundance in early 2021. Once Baldwin was attached, the project raised coin via presales, distribution and American and international debt financing, based on the actor’s value in those markets.
Then, in October 2021, the “Rust” shooting happened. Baldwin was accused of negligently pulling the trigger on a prop gun, causing the...

Gospel choir Voices of Fire have linked up with Pharrell Williams on their new single “Joy (Unspeakable).” Listen to it below.
Based out of Hampton Roads, Virginia, Voices of Fire is a gospel choir led by Bishop Ezekiel Williams, Pharrell’s uncle. As documented in their eponymous Netflix documentary, the group is intended to be a showcase of some of the world’s most talented gospel singers, with its members curated by a team of leaders in the gospel scene. “Joy (Unspeakable),” of course, showcases this talent, placing the choir’s vibrant, bright harmonies at the center of a Pharrell-produced beat complete with melodic interjections and dashes of his signature 808-driven sound. By the tune’s outro, the track elevates to a euphoric, bouncing celebration of joy, fit for a jamboree.
