After buying the newspaper, the salesman in the passenger seat's window is up. When the next shot is from over his shoulder, the car window is down.

David (Moritz Bleibtreu) leaves a cafe to follow Sara (Antje Traue). He grabs his coat and black umbrella (1:16:12). He walks out with his coat but no umbrella present in following outside scenes before helping Sara with her umbrella.

Though the story takes place in 1946, Sara says she "studied law at Harvard" - but women weren't admitted to Harvard Law School until 1950 as part of the class of 1953.

Sara wears high heeled shoes with her uniform, which would not be allowed. The proper footwear would have been low heeled oxfords.

Sara wears her headgear (garrison cap) indoors while interrogating David. It is against US Army regulation to wear headgear indoors Soldiers will not wear headgear indoors, unless under arms in an official capacity, or when directed by the commander, such as for indoor ceremonial activities.
