Marvel Studios is back with its first new movie since “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” and, should the release schedule hold, its last new movie until the third “Deadpool,” which doesn’t come out until next July.
This being a Marvel movie, there are characters old and new to keep track of, as our heroes jet across the galaxy in an attempt to thwart a massive threat to our world and countless others.
Here’s a complete cast and character guide for “The Marvels.” The only folks we have left out are the ones you definitely don’t want spoiled.
Marvel Studios Brie Larson as Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel
Carol Danvers is a former test pilot turned superhero, whose origins were traced in “Captain Marvel” and who was last seen in 2019’s “Avengers: Endgame,” lending a hand in what is now canonically referred to as the Battle of Earth.

Behold: 20 great reasons to A) use Pentagon-level security settings on your social media accounts and B) not post horrible things - courtesy of Reddit. 1. "A former colleague of mine posted about how he was going to use up all his sick leave then quit. He posted it at 9 a.m., and was told he didn't have a job at 11 a.m." 2. It all starts with one.
Jesse might not be able to save all his congregation at once, but he makes one significant breakthrough on Preacher Season 1 Episode 4 that surprises everyone.

Odin Quincannon is not the type of guy you'd think would serve anyone other than himself. And, he certainly had no intention of "serving God" like Jesse wanted him to.
The only thing Quincannon wanted was the land Jesse offered him if he came to church. But, the most powerful man in Annville got a lot more when the entity took over, and Quincannon basically gave himself up to God.
It's going to be odd seeing how this story plays out.

We’re back to dissect another remake and this time we’re taking a bite out of a vampire movie. The original version was a classic but the remake does not quite measure up. This week, Cinelinx looks at Fright Night (2011).
When the remake of the classic vampire film Fright Night (1985) came out in 2011, the initial reaction was very positive because it was such a relief to have truly evil vampires back. After the brooding and sparking vampires of Twilight started a trend of angst-ridden or lovelorn or depressed vampires, fans were thrilled that the blood-sucking antagonist of director Craig Gillespie's new Fright Night remake and his fellow vamps were hard-core predators with no reservations about chowing down on their next-door neighbor. The Fright Night creatures-of-the-night were more Dracula than Edward. It was good to have the badness back. However, upon reflection, the 2011 version doesn’t hold up that well.
