The airliner is completely white (save for a blue design near the tail), but in several close-ups the cockpit is shown to be in a blue stripe. Also, the aircraft is what appears to be an Airbus A340, but close-ups from outside the cockpit show it be that of a much older propeller-driven airliner.
With the plane locked in autopilot, it would not be possible to maneuver so precisely to use a lava bomb to remove a non working engine let alone do it so perfect that it doesn't cause severe damage to the wings causing the plane to lose aerodynamics and crash. Nor could the see where the bombs are from the windows of the cockpit to execute it so perfectly.
