Early in the end credits is the message: "This movie was filmed in South Africa during the national mourning of former president Nelson Mandela." This is followed by a short scene where the competition hostess announces it is time to pay respect to him with a moment of silence, starting with the rallying cry "Amanda!", and answered by the crowd with "Awethu!" and a raised fist.
