There’s not much out there that can parallel the depth of Elden Ring‘s world-building. It seems like every other day, someone has deduced a huge piece of information about the world that has been battered and bruised relentlessly from constant power struggles between powerful beings.
Queen Marika, who won such a struggle before the events of the game, remained a mysterious character throughout the base game. However, the Dlc unveiled her backstory, causing a bunch of new theories about the base game to erupt.
This Elden Ring Theory Explains Why Everyone Hates Grafting
Grafting is a cruel and gruesome practice in the Lands Between. If you’ve come across Godrick the Grafted or one of the Grafted Scions, you’ll know why that is.

The Elden Ring Dlc has captured the hearts and minds of FromSoftware fans across the globe with its stellar offerings. This is coincidental, as one of the central characters in Shadow of the Erdtree is Miquella the Kind, who can win nearly undying loyalty from those he charms.
The Tarnished’s quest will take them on a long journey that ends with an inevitable fight against not one, but two demigods. It’s not an easy fight, but one fan feels small changes could have made the fight and the story feel far more worthwhile and substantial.
Elden Ring Fan Unhappy with Sote Ending Due to Lack of Agency
Aside from Sekiro, Hidetaka Miyazaki’s games have always allowed the player to choose the ending they wish for their experience. One fan believes the same could have been done with the Elden Ring Dlc, but it fell short of this objective.

Elden Ring, by default, is a massive game that encompasses hundreds of stories that tell the history of the Lands Between. Add to this a giant Dlc and you have a universe created by a studio that never stops exploring the depths of fantasy fiction.
Shadow of the Erdtree likely raises more questions about its world than it answers, and fans can’t help but wonder how the game’s campaign could have ended under different scenarios.

The recent story trailer for Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree surprised everyone, as an announcement was made just a few hours before the trailer was set to premiere on YouTube. While the 3-minute-long insight into the Dlc’s storyline did not help much, it made the fans ponder once again if one of the weakest demigods stole his key technique from an enemy we are yet to fight.

Godrick the Grafted is the first major boss and shard bearer that the players come across in the game. Despite giving a hard challenge initially, he happens to be the weakest shard bearer in contrast to every other demigod our tarnished character fights against. Fans have also started theorizing how he ultimately copied his grafting technique from the mane-bearing creature we will fight in Shadow of the Erdtree Dlc.
