What makes these 7 discs unique to any instructional series, is that these DVDs are taken from over 320 hours of film footage that was shot while making the documentary BUCK. Therefore, you have movie theater quality and an abundance of great material! Also, because these were filmed in the last few years, it shows what Buck is doing in his clinics now. In other words, it's like getting to go to several of Buck's clinics and watch what he currently teaches. We understand that Bucks clinics are now regularly sold out, even for auditors/spectators, so this would be a perfect way to get to "go to several clinics," and get a front row seat. Of course, we highly recommend going to see the real thing!
There are tons of footage of horsemanship lessons as well as groundwork classes. Our focus groups have also benefited from seeing the students in the classes work at what he is teaching and see him directly instruct them.
We don't include any cow work, because we were aiming at a broad horsemanship audience (both English and Western). I did not feel qualified to edit roping and cattle work. However, Buck does talk about how these lessons apply to cattle work. As Buck says, good riding is good riding, no matter what discipline you are in!

Templeton Thompson did an amazing job for us on this project! Listen for her songs When I Get That Pony Rode, A Horse that Can Fly, and Lesson in There Somewhere playing over the end credits (different one on each set). Visit her website to listen to these and other tracks. Sam Gay (Tempy's husband) did most of the beautiful music cues that you hear in the menus! http://www.7clinics.com/thompson.html#songs
