This film is a must see. Beautifully written and acted. A film fest favorite! Allison gives a beautiful performance and has the uncanny ability to make you laugh and cry at the same time. The concept of death by suicide is a heavy one but the cast and writer/director (Gapastione) masterfully weave the heavy topic along with humor and the real life ways that we often find times of laughter when we are grieving a loved one. The film does not focus on how or why Dominick died by suicide but more on how the family copes which is endearing. BraveMaker is a Bay Area nonprofit and I'm so excited to see more of their films.
