It's the same dark humor Ridiculousness has, but waaaaay better. Tosh hosts a show similar to shows such as "The Soup" and "AFV," but with edgier clips. The show is infamously known as holding the world record for an audience reaction to 2 Girls 1 Cup. Daniel still hosts the show to this day and it's still extremely funny. Might not be for everybody, but if you wanna laugh at some screwball humor... this is for you!
Now here's a pretty gritty threeway for you - who can stand in front of a video screen and make the wittiest remarks? Will it be Daniel Tosh, Rob Dyrdek or Joel McHale?
Round one: Get them all into a fistfight, the one with no originality takes a hard one to the head. Did Daniel and Joel just team up, to bitch slap Dyrdek into a toilet where Steve O is trying out new poop jokes? Yep.
Round two: Arm wrestling over the best concept. Could get close. Really crude about internet clips, or more contained about commercial TV? Who is to judge, very different conditions and possibilities. They shake hands reluctantly.
Round three: A very biased ref comes in, hellbent on ruining the game. "Who makes me laugh harder", the ref says. Daniel does. "Who is cuter?" Joel is.
Who wins? Daniel Tosh wins all the time, all the freaking time!!! Are you kidding me???

Tosh is a girl-crazy 9-year-old boy who lives in a small town with his rather eccentric family. He'll do *anything* to melt the heart of his latest crush...and this often gets him into terrible, terrible trouble.
Oh wait, that is The World of Tosh which is on a whole different planet. This Tosh is a guy with a short hair cut and semi-obtrusive ears. 10 women who got matched with him on Internet dating services are filing lawsuits against those services. This has become a great way for College Girls to make money, at least it's cleaner than WTF.
Seriously, Tosh.O is a series which caters to the teenage crowd. Kind of like when Michael Landon made I Was A Teenage Werewolf. The difference is Tosh is more harmless & will never hang @ the Pondersa with Hop Sing. Tosh uses green screen & a large LCD Computer monitor to put some clips together, or take them apart.
The pace of Tosh.O is fast & flips along so that if you don't like one thing, it is gone quickly to the next one. There is a little bit of this, a dab of that, some bleeps, & a bunch of bleeping commercials. It kind of flies by though I am not sure if it flies any faster on Twitter than a sling shot on a stick. Tosh is a Facebook page person too.
A clip on Tosh.O might show anything, and Tosh just might say almost anything about the clip, & quickly move on. If your into fast collages & little meaning this show might just be for you. It tries to be funny & moves along quickly for 30 minutes.
Try it out & either you will like what you see or not. If it is not, just wait a minute & you might like the next bit. If you stay with this for more than 4 hours, please consult your physician for major humor complications.
Added to this, Tosh is out on Facebook giving previews to stuff that is coming from this off the wall humor. You can check that out to help you decide if you want to watch the show, or if you'd rather go shopping @ Victoria's Secret Walmart. Falling prices & Lacy undergarments go together somehow.

It's fun reading the bad reviews for this show, and it's still going strong. I guess everyone else disagrees with ya'll.

A lot of people compare Tosh.0 to the E! Network's Talk Soup. Sure, it's just some guy standing in front of a blue screen commenting on stupid people hurting themselves on Youtube for a half an hour. You could also say the same thing about America's Funniest Home Videos.
But what makes Daniel Tosh's show different is that his one-liners are often spot-on, his audience interaction is great (like when he asked his audience which celebrities he could beat up), and the web redemptions/remixes/reunions/retreats are hilarious. Now that the show went from having a budget of zero to actually having one, expect them to get even crazier.
And unlike the other shows, Daniel Tosh's is almost interactive, whether it's pasting together stories from random Twitter feeds, wrecking havoc on Wikipedia (they actually had to close the page to prevent Tosh fans from editing it due to "vulgar, rampant profanity"), or seeing how many funny comments he can make in 20 seconds.
I'd actually go so far as to compare this show to MTV's Jackass. Sure it lacks the camaraderie of Johnny Knoxville and his crazy crew - but the gags are there. The brand of toilet humor and random nonsense is exactly the same. And where's the puke? There's plenty of it!

I've been falling Daniel Tosh for awhile and I finally get to see his stand up tomorrow night! His show is a comedic genius and it cracks me up every time I watch it. He basically shows youtube videos and makes hilarious comments/jokes about them. In every episode he has a feature video and he does something special with that person...needless to says it's hilarious! His humor is definitely shocking and crude so if you like that you will love him!
I watched a couple clips of the soup and I think this show is way better! I love Daniel Tosh and people should definitely watch his show!! I highly recommend it :-)

I liked Daniel Tosh's comedy before anyone had heard of him. My sides hurt from laughing after listening to his first act, "True Stories I Made Up." He upped the bar with "Completely Serious." So I was pretty excited when I heard he was getting a show...then was disappointed when it was yet another Soup variation, especially with Web Soup already running. I was in for a pleasant surprise. Tosh excels at social commentary, and the goofy grin that shows on his face as he nonchalantly spouts off the most politically incorrect and tongue in cheek remarks you could dream up will just about have you dying.
From time to time, an episode falls flat, and sometimes the show can get a little TOO gross (I can't take looking at compound fractures or people squeezing pus out of boils). Occasionally I'll be offended by something he says, but overall, Tosh is very consistent. Awesome show!

I can't tell you how much I loved this first episode of Tosh.0, I laughed so hard I almost puked! His opening monologue was just great - and his video slow-down of the guy trying to karate-chop coconuts was truly rocking! Yes, IMDb made me add the "G" at the end of that word. I'm going to have to make his show a regular thing! I've always thought he was funny and now a show that makes fun of the internet combining his sense of humor is just brilliant! The internet has been needing some dedicated fun-making for quite some time, and I think Daniel Tosh is just the comedian for the job. The redemption of the week looks like a good segment too... now I'm just stretching to fill the minimum comments length.

For all you Internet junkies out there, this show is for you. Daniel Tosh, a funny as hell stand-up comic, takes you into the seedy realm we all inhabit and gives pointed observations on everything from the Afro Ninja to kids getting smashed in the face. In all honesty, I thought this show would be a bust. Seeing as how only Internet People tend to enjoy their self-referential humour, I figured there would be nothing for the average everyman to laugh at. However; Tosh makes funny for everybody, not just those of us who lurk the waters of the World Wide Web. Also; the subtle little inside jokes meant only for us Web Heads are hilarious.

All this guy does is find some clip of the internet that is amusing and then play it again and again in slow mo. Daniel also tries WAY to hard to be funny. This is probably the only host that i felt like hitting every time the show came on.
Not to mention whenever it is on most of the time i have seen the clips before.
There is pretty much NO point to this show if you have the internet already. Just go and search for funny videos yourself, no ads no stupid voice overs no annoying replays etc.
There are too many shows like this at the moment i am not sure how they even get aired. Though i guess TV has some pretty low standards these days.

I absolutely LOVE this show!!! Not since John Henson (now relegated to Wipeout) and Hal Sparks on Talk soup (currently hosted by the unreasonably restrained Joel McHale) have I thought that there would ever be a comedian this funny!! His "Take no prisoners" and "Now don't you feel stupid" attitude makes ignorant people take a hard look in the mirror warts and all! He makes statements that are completely outrageous and sacrilegious so that only the inordinately pigheaded autocrats and self important knee-jerk reactionaries (who are offended anyway and really?!?! Those who live their lives searching for reasons to be offended so that they can jump out of their cushy, overstuffed, easy chairs, to take up their holier than thou torch of self righteousness and set aflame ideals from our ignorant, uneducated past to ignite the fuse of other idiots to demand censors to blunt every corner so that no one ever has to suffer from the indignity of having their narrow, closed minds cracked open to let the light of the twenty first century!!!

Tosh.O is the pinnacle of comedy, well, at least on 'Comedy Central', because truth to be told, there isn't much going on these days since Breaking Bad ended.
The host, Daniel Tosh, brings us the viral and the not-so-viral videos and delivers hilarious, and somewhat offensive commentary. Me myself, I don't think it's THAT offensive at all, but that's just your personal bubble of morals.
The web redemptions and video breakdowns can get a bit silly at times, but that doesn't take away one bit of the "hate all people" stand-up Daniel Tosh unleashes at the audience.
Bottom line, tl;dr: Don't watch this if you're easily offended.

I've been a big fan of this show since day 1. A lot of people think it's extremely dark comedy but I have to disagree people think he takes his jokes to far if people don't take comedy to far then we would be stuck with knock knock jokes. Having said that this show is hilarious if your not a prude with comedy you'll love this show it's a mix of mtv's scars (which is a show that shows people getting injured), a frat party (because this show has puke) and the soup (because that has what people consider handsome dark comedian) this shows got something for everyone except little children, feminists and comedy prudes. Also people say this show is a rip off of the soup which is all wrong the soup is technically a rip off shows like this have been around forever only thing I can say that's different about this show compared to the shows it "rips off" is it's much darker comedy and takes everything to a whole different level comedy and it actually keeps laughing the whole way through. I love it.

While the show has many variety of videos which contain acts of cursing and violence that are often unfunny the commentary that he makes for the video is almost always funny.
Some of the videos that you might see can be very disturbing to watch or some even so gross you could start gagging if you had a weak stomach
Daniel Tosh is a very funny comedian and is usually very inappropriate for almost anyone at any age.
I thought that the show was really funny to watch and there was always something interesting to watch or listen to. But if the show itself doesn't satisfy you you can go to his Blog to watch extended and uncensored parts of some of the videos he showed.

I've been following Daniel since his debut on Comedy Central some years back. His styler of fast paced and crude comedy fits my young generation unbelievably well. Everything he says gives me a belly laugh. Everyone I know likes him as much as I do. All my family including my parents love the show, and my friends and I would do anything to go see him live. He brings up amazing points on how bad other comedians of today are like Jeff Dunham and Carlos Mencia. He's a genius and I hope his show never gets cancelled because I will be watching and supporting him forever. He is my celebrity baby, and I can't wait to see him grow even more. I'm thinking he will gain celebrity status soon enough.

I have only seen about half of season three of Tosh.0 (free on youtube). If you like crude humor, which I do, there's a lot to laugh at in this show. Initially, I found myself laughing hysterically at both the videos and the comedic bits and to criticize the show based solely on the low-brow nature of the jokes is unfair and probably means that you just don't like that brand of humor. This being said, there's a real dark side to this show which, ultimately, far outweighs the enjoyable aspects. For the life of me, I cannot understand why a television show would make fun of people who often times are clearly getting seriously, seriously injured. It's one thing to watch a video where a person appears to get injured, but then they get up and, while perhaps a little bruised, clearly are okay. It's something completely different to watch a video and be left with the thought that you just might have seen someone get crippled or, in rare cases, even died, and then hear rather tasteless jokes about it. There is a sickening aftertaste to these moments and for all of the genuinely funny moments, if you are like me, this particular aspect is enough to cause one to never watch another episode.
I admit to having some personal bias with this. It's mostly because I just love the Internet in general and want to know about all the recent popular videos. I don't go to a lot of websites like I used to, so I'm probably missing out on some stuff. I admit that Daniel Tosh does usually deliver when you want the goods for online videos. Now the thing is, he seems to be biased. It's mostly because he's usually just interested in videos that are disgusting or obscene. Of course, I guess a comedian would want to do that. It just seems like it would make more sense if he did harmless videos like cats eating food.
I remember when he finally had a cat video which was a cat being breastfed by a human. It seems a bit too easy to not show nicer stuff. Still, he does do a lot of clips that are entertaining in themselves. The variety is usually good. The thing is, he is often very funny. He manages to do commentary on a lot of different things and I'll always give him credit for that. For all the crude stuff he shows, he actually swears less than most comedians. I find that interesting!
It's great to acknowledge all the Internet celebrities out there and give their own 15 minutes of fame, however bizarre that may be. I love the fact that he mocks how often Comedy Central loses shows. Come on, "Brickleberry" needs to come there. That really was a bad show. It really is quite impressive he's managed to stay on the year so long. He does in fact have generally fresh material and is always topical. That probably owes to his success.
I really do find this show to be unique and even if it's not the best of Comedy Central, it's still pretty innovative and unpredictable. I know he'll never show videos of FunToyzCollector, who's the richest celebrity there. Then again, I'd love to see him mock her. Seriously, how are those things so freaking popular? It's not the most variety, as I watch many cartoon clips, but this is definitely worth looking, if only to show the popularity on the Internet on TV. ***1/2 out of ****.

Would have given this show 10 stars, but had to deduct one star for all the disgusting puke videos, and another star for the even more disgusting naked men videos. Other than that, this show is close to perfect, and is one of the few tv shows that actual makes me LOL. The jokes that Daniel (and his writers) make about the videos are much funnier than the videos themselves.

I love a good laughing of the out loud variety. Particularly enjoy an extremely violent cackle laugh. This shows warms my human gizzard
He's a Comedy Central paid fairly famous version of myself. My humor is alarmingly more weird than his so everyone be grateful I'm not behind the camera. Or maybe you're sad you can't observe my absurdity?

I used to look forward to this show every week and think every joke, and every video was absolutely hilarious to the point of tears. I knew this show leaned to the left on a very liberal network, so I wasn't surprised when the anti-Trump jokes started creeping in. But, I can laugh at everything, including my own views and even myself, I'm not a yuppy clown no sense of humor. The problem is, the more liberal it got, like every other stand up comic, the less funny it got, to the point now where it's down-right boring. I'm sure all the democrats will hate this review, and I really don't care, I just thought somebody should should say it.... the show sucks now. Like everyone else, you went woke, and you went broke. Thank God it's getting cancelled.
